Hi Donna, you are so welcome! We are much alike in that aspect. I too like to stick with the tried and true. I am hoping that this glue will continue to hold up over time. And oh yes, I use a bit of hot glue (which tends not hold up over time at least not with certain materials) with a bit of tacky glue or e6000 if I have that handy depending on the project. It makes crafting that much easier😁!💜

Thank you for this wonderful information Ivy! When I add water to my tacky glue I always shake it vigorously. And then all of the water comes out when I attempt to glue something ‘cuz it hasn’t been mixed well 😂. Yes, they are GALVANIZED! TY! P. S. You’ll love the Sugarbelles! 💜🤗

Sorry about the postal costs so it’s not a bargain for you. Adhesion time: I spoke on it while doing another video I probably won’t post 😂, but some days it’s grabs extremely fast just like art glitter glue and some days it doesn’t. Depends on the weather which is something that we always have to take into consideration.

@@ClimmiesCreations It took a long time before I could find art glitter glue hete in the Netherlands. But finally this summer I did and even though it díd cost me a lot more then other glues in the end it is cheaper because I have to use so much less. I even had to get used to that because I was used to put a lot of the cheaper glue on my creations for even a less good effect. I have about 6 or 7 glues here but nowadays I only use those when I need more time to position things properly and I use Aleene's original taggy glue for heavier stuff like journalcovers. It is rather thick and I have a hard time getting it out of the bottle because my hands just don't have the power. With gluesticks I find that it sticks well at first but it doesn't last, after a couple of months it lets go, specially with the cheaper ones. Here Pritt works the bestbut even that I would not risk if I make something that is supposed lasting for some1 else. It is nice to see what other's use and to have comparison. You’re welcome! If you have easy access to Aileens tacky glue this is great. That tacky glue is awesome. I just put a little water in mine when it get too thick. Doesn’t effect the strength of the glue at all like I thought that it would. Makes it grab faster even. Just don’t use too much water! 😂

You are absolutely correct Lori! It was quite muggy here yesterday. Given that and my results, I am in love with the Elmers glue! The price for the quality is just unbeatable. Yes, leave the fabric fusion at the store 😂. I want to thank you again for sharing such a wonderful find with me!🤗💜

Awl Nan! I am sorry to here this but glad that I did. What is your climate like? Yesterday was quite muggy here in my part of Texas. Lori reminded me that weather does affect a glues performance. It is very liquify so I can see that it will make paper curl. Great uses that you have found for it though. Wonderful idea to use for knitting needles! Thank you for sharing!💜
