What fun. I want to play today so I'm going to make some art with the kids similar to this. It is our 44th anniversary. (We got married when we were 5, she says with an oddly straight face. ) He says we are going on a blind date because we are picking up blinds for the greenhouse. Funny guy.

Hi Amy, I love your artistic house! I made a five panel accordion book for a friend of mine for her Birthday. I used a digital of quirky houses. She has always liked funny houses in quilt patterns. Good for your mental health is true for me. I have been doing a lot of small collages and started your 50stack challenge 5 just to keep my mind and grief from taking over too much. My son died 4 months ago, and my brother passed on Tuesday the 25th of this month. I love your houses. TFS

I love the imagery of houses, I have built at least a hundred of the Tim Holtz village houses . . . I am thinking of taking the tri-fold laser cut houses I purchased from you and making this style houses and mounting them on your tri-fold for a fold out in a journal. What a great combination. I already used your tri-fold trees to make a journal of tree poems . . . I had already skipped purchasing this issue of Somerset because I didn't see any thing new/interesting in my flip through. I am now seeing the magazine through your eyes and hoping my store will still have a copy when I get there . . . Thanks for the inspiration! ❤❤❤

FYI if you get the dental brushes for braces it cleans your metal tip out really good for your glue. When I told you the other day we were visiting the University of Tennessee are daughters only 15 so she’s got three more years at home but she’s wanting to check out all different colleges, she wants to be a nurse and then a doctor. Hope your day is filled with joy and peace.

I LOVE this project. For some reason, little whimsical houses speak to me. Yours turned out so cool. I'm having trouble with my Art Glitter glue too. I did some research and read that it gets thick once it's over a year old. Mine is over a year cause I bought a very large bottle. (Lesson learned!) Also read that it thickens in the summer weather. Thank you for sharing, I'm looking forward to trying this project.

Absolutely love this - clever using the stamp pads - my pin does the same thing - I noticed that Gayle puts her pin through the top of the knitting cap - I'm going to try that the next time I get in my studio. I hate when the ball comes off of the pin. Enjoy your day!

So cute! I missed that issue. Like your version of the project 😊 Isn't it nice, that as an artist, we can take an idea and run with it. If I was still teaching ( taught art, K-8, for 36 yrs) I think this project would have been a fun project to follow an art history lesson on Romare Bearden 🙂

Hello Amy, I missed you! I took a bad fall 8 days ago and couldn’t get up to get my phone, so spent the night on the floor until my daughter rescued me and called an ambulance 🚑 I just got released from hospital and my daughter is staying with me.
