I wish I had scrapbooking friends! I'm 28 years old and I have scrapbooked since 2015. I have yet to meet anyone my age(or anyone older for that matter) that scrapbooks. I would love to join an online scrapbooking community or something but I don't know of any. I've been watching your videos for a while to get inspired, I really like your scrapbooking style, so creative 👌

Hello Bella, I feel ya! I started scrapbooking when I was around 19 after my friend introduced me to it. We were always the youngest at the crops by a long shot. Slowly more and more of my friends caught on and joined us. Scrapbooking has definitely increased in popularity though. Perhaps you can coax some friends into trying a simpler form of scrapbooking like project life pocket layouts or memory keeping planner style or even using a predesigned kit where they just put it together. I find most people think they could never create a layout until they try it and then they are hooked! I am so glad you are enjoying the videos and layouts. I appreciate you saying so!

I just recently purchased the D-Ring binder to hold my scrapbook pages before permanently putting them away. I love the idea of this and they are so easy to view if I have forgotten to add something. Your layouts are all so pretty. Looking forward to your next video…thank you!

I don't scrapbook chronological either. I go with my mood or pictures that grab my attention. I then put my layouts in a 12 x 12 paper bin and file them when bin is full. I so enjoy watching your process videos and the layout share is a great reminder of things I would like to lift.

Exactly! If I’m not feeling inspired by the photos or papers then I tend to not like the finished layout either. I much rather go with my mood. Your system is similar to mine just without the temporary album.

THANK YOU!!! I haven't created a page in 3 years! I migrated to card making and "saved scrapbooking for winter" and haven't been back. I can't wait to create a story page and get back to telling my story in art form.

Hi Erin, your pages are beautiful as usual. I put all of my Album Retreat pages in a three ring binder to keep organized. It really helped with all of those small pieces. Thanks for sharing.

The three ring binder idea is brilliant. You are my favorite person to watch, hands down. Our scrap styles are similar (but yours are WAAAAAY better than mine!) and your pages are beautiful!

You are too kind and I’m sure mine are not way better. I look back on my earlier layouts and they were very clean. Mainly patterned paper, a title and the photos with very little embellishing. It’s fun to see how one’s style develops over time.

Great pages! If you don't scrapbook chronological, do you have tips/ tricks to keep track of what photos you've scrapbooked already?

Hello Melissa, that is a good question. Typically I remember scrapbooking the photos however it has happened to me once where I scrapbooked pictures I had already done. I discovered it when I went to put the layout away. All was not lost because it was of my boys so I gave the layout to their grandma for her album and she loved it. Now if I’m not 100% sure I just go to the album it would be in and do a quick flip through to make sure.

I love your idea of creating layouts as you are inspired and then insert them in your album at a later date. I do have a question about post bound albums. I prefer them, but hate how my layouts end up being a bit bent near the spine. I like when I create a two page layout it comes together nicely in the center. I just dislike how they get bent up, it's there something in doing wrong? How many layouts can you usually fit your your post bound album?

Do you use the spacers in your spines? I add in a plastic spacer between every set of five page protectors. This keeps the layouts flatter and might be a good solution for your pages bending near the spine.
