great video! I asked for one of these for Christmas and I was gifted the mini envelope board instead of the standard size one. Was trying to figure out how to use it for a 6x6 envelope and now I have a solution. I certainly wasn't going to tell my family member that it was wrong. and mini envelopes have been fun but I didn't want to buy an different board.

If you can find the 1-2-3 punch board instead, it comes with an extendable arm to accommodate for the longer envelope scoring

Thank you for this video. I did buy the envelope punch board, and within seconds thought "but wait, what if my envelope paper size needs are bigger than the scoring line?" and this has solved the knotty issue...Brilliant!

You my dear are brilliant. So... I brought my punch board today to make invitations for a friend.. I thought how ever am I going to make big enough envelopes? I was beside myself because I didn't want to think that I had wasted all that money for nothing. You were the 2nd lady I found,. The first just told me that the measurements were wrong and they will give you new ones etc. Thankfully, everything was inside the package. THEN I typed in "Can the envelop punch board make bigger" search bar and that's where you came in. I downloaded the calculator app on my phone then continued to watch your vid. I am soooo happy you were the first to pop up in my search. I am so thankful we have wonderful crafters out there like you. Have an awesome weekend. ♥

Fudged the first two a bit, but recovered. The third was not too bad. Had to c u t the card a tiny bit. Love it. When I calculate the size, I put the shorter measurement in the calculator first.

I can't thank you enough for this! I'm just starting out at making cards and I've been making my own envelopes, until... I needed a business size envelope for a longer card! I know that you can buy them in pretty colors, but I don't want to waste my money on envelopes when there is so many other things I'm needing to buy for this craft! Thank you so much! You just took the frustration out of my night and now I'm going to bed so I can make my envelope tomorrow!

On the long funky flap, you drew a line and cut it off. What I do is mark the line, then, using my scoreboard I score it and fold that under and trim off any excess. This helps reinforce and strengthen the back of the envelope. I also don’t cut off the long point on the sealing flap, but trim it down and use the corner rounder punch to give it a rounded but more defined edge. The new envelope makers from We R Memory Keepers has a long arm that extends out to the right for larger sheets of paper and large envelopes.

I've just bought the 123 board. I love making large cards, so it was really good to see your video on how to make the larger envelopes. I'm hoping it will be possible to do one to fit an 8 in x 8 in card. I also bought one of the very same pop up cards that you show on this video, to see if I can make something similar myself. Can you tell me what weight of paper/card stock is best when making greeting card envelopes please? I have 10”x10” card stock and it seems to be too heavy to score on my Memory Maker envelope punch. It seems that 65 wt is a little too heavy. Also I have a lot of 8.5 x 11 sheets of 65 wt, but the maker says to cut the paper 9.5 x 9.5 so that doesn’t work either. I don’t know anything about what weight is good for what. I hope you can help me - so I can order what I need to make Christmas card envelopes. Thank you so much for your time. I failed to mention that the cards I’m making are 5 x 7.
