With the 2024 NHL Entry Draft inching closer and closer, today I take a look and review Craig Button's FINAL prospect rankings for the 2024 NHL Draft!
He released his TOP 96 players in the draft, and today I reviewed some of his rankings, seeing what I agree & disagree with, and how his rankings compare to mine!

What are your thoughts on Dean Letourneau? He seems like he's compared to or is in the shadow of Tage Thompson and has all the tools as Thompson does.

I remember listening to Craig interviewing with Sheng Peng and he said that he didn't see any real difference between Silayev and Emery. He's also been raving about Parascak since the draft lottery, so I'm not surprised to see him up there.

Berkley Catton dropping to the Sharks at 14 would be insane. A top line of Celebrini, Smith, and Catton would be fun. Three skilled forwards with high IQ.

Riley Heidt imo inflated Parascak's numbers this year from what I could tell. Heidt could've been a late 1st but fell to the late 2nd. Lots of scouts who have watched Parascak a lot suggest he's early 2nd quality.

I really like Craig Button. I'm not on the same page as Craig is but this is a rankings and not a mock so the picks may really be different than this list is. This is going to be a really fun draft to watch. Cheers from Ottawa🍁

7:01 Jarome Iginla was ranked 26th by the league rankings. Selected 11th and even at that spot, people were questioning if it was too early (11th). He is an hall of famer, more than 600 goals. So it’s only opinions here. How many games you saw from each players vs Button? 🧐

So much Cole Eiserman hate… Just because he isn’t a N. 1 overall pick like people thought he would be, doesn’t mean he can still be an effective point producer. Though for me personally he won’t go N. 5.

@@ryderholloway8982 Basically 6'0/200 with 40-50 goal potential and can play a physical game. Defensive responsibility can at least be taught even though he'll never be a Selke candidate. Personally I think if he ends up going in the 12-15 range he's being undervalued.

I put Eiserman in the same boat as Parekh. Very offensive but unidimensional. They both gonna go between #10 to #20.

I hate that Biuim's stock has risen so much. Was hoping the Devils would be able to grab him at 10 if they keep the pick but no chance he falls there with all the hype around him. Maybe Dickinson falls a little more than people are expecting.

I mean every year there are 1st rounders that barely or don't even end up making the league so he could be as right or as wrong as anybody. I agree though that this draft is wide open and has the potential to end up being pretty wild. Hope we see some trades and some craziness.

How are you so convinced on Helenius capping out as a middle six forward? broke records on POINTS in Liiga and proved he is one hell of a playmaker he can drive the play really well too there is no reason to think he couldn’t be a elite player

I find myself disagreeing with his takes every year, and it surprises me how many of his hot takes hit. Feels like he gets pretty close to what really happens at the draft too sometimes.

Maxim masse is too low imo he should be a mid to late first rounder and I hope the stars select him I mean how could you not like this kid he’s big strong has a good shot and has a nose for the net
