Who is Dale Brisby!? Dale Brisby is a legendary bull riding gypsy soul that is always on to the next one! He crawls outta bed the same way he crawls into the bucking chute, ready to keep it 90! He loves spurring big brahmer necks for big money checks. you can find him at the pay window, behind the bucking chutes, in the chute, or even busting broncs and tearing down honky tonks! He's been 90 in Maine, Spain, Spokane, and Ala-bame! Thank you for taking a moment to enjoy his shenanigans on the road, at a rodeo, or at home at Radiator Ranch! We all know that one guy who's always playin. You find yourself wondering every time he opens his mouth if its a serious story or another joke. You think to yourself, "You play too much! But it is funny. And you're good looking. And I want to name my kid after you. And you're a legend. And I want you to kiss my wife on the mouth!" Well that guy is me! Sometimes when I open my mouth, I don't even know if what I'm about to say is credible, so I can't imagine how you feel! However, if it isn't true, it otta be! Thanks again for joining!

I’ve obviously never worked as hard as these fellers lol but clearing trails in the wilderness for the wy Forrest service was pretty hard work. Packed in on horseback with two man saws and pick axes. One of my best memories

Honestly I don't call myself cowboy,I wouldn't be worthy to buckle these guy's spurs. I'm just a hillbilly farmboy from the Appalachians. But when he said kids these days don't have chores, that struck a chord with me. I don't know much about ranch'n but I do know about mountain farming. One thing I would tell someone wanting to get into livestock and such,is that they come first. No matter how tired you are, how frustrating a day you've had they come first. I had a 2 hour bus ride to school so we had to be on the bus at 6 to be at school at 8. But BEFORE I got on that bus the chickens, dogs, horses, cows and hogs had to be fed and watered. Just my sister and me because Dad would already be gone to work for the coal company. That meant in the winter I had to go down in the holler to chop ice out of the tank with an axe,so the cows and horses had water. While I did that Sis would be throwing hay down from the barn. Hay that over the summer we would help our neighbors bale and put up for a share. Learned to drive in a hayfield following a baler. I can still here the "ka chunk a chunk" of that New Holland baler. Then I got old enough to load hay, then strong enough to throw it from the truck into the barn. While I had friends that went to the beach over the summer I was slinging square bales and hoe'n corn, for those cows and horses. We raised our own feed corn and shucked and shelled corn by hand, for the cows. Sometimes I hated them damn cows, hated shoveling their crap out of stalls, hated doctor'n them because they wouldn't cooperate and made it hard. Hated hoe'n corn in the hot sun to feed those damn cows. Those damn stupid cows, they fed me and put clothes on my back. But they came first, the animals always comes first. I work doing carpentry nowadays, and you know I miss those 'ol stupid cows, they'll always be first.

I have just started watching Mr.Brisby last week. But, this is one of the best videos I have watched yet. I am 47 and I remember the older fellas back when I was 18-30 and would love to interact with them and hear the stories on all ends of life. These Gentlemen are not quite that old but this is awesome just to sit and listen to. I don’t have any of these “old timers” in my life right now but I would love to and have talks with them. Please have more of these talks, seriously, we need them. Thank y’all, have a blessed rest of the year to all y’all.

A couple years later while watching a buckout he told me he was telling me a little white lie.
