They may have lost the Community Shield today but regardless for me Manchester City will win the Premier League title once again next season which will make it 6 premier league titles in 7 seasons including 4 in a row. In my opinion, Manchester City winning the Premier League title again next season isn’t a good look for the league because fans consider the premier league to be the toughest league in the world and Manchester City in the last 6 seasons have won 5 league titles and I get that some of the title races have been close and have had to be decided on the last game of the season but based off of the titles they’ve been winning domestically you’re dominating the league regardless. Despite the likes of Arsenal Liverpool and Manchester United strengthening their squads, I have every feeling that Manchester City as soon as they hit their peak they won’t stop winning games and that level of consistency that they have is the reason why they’ve had longevity in the Premier League and they’re coming off the back of a treble winning season and they’re about to lose some players and financially they can replace them but still have world class players in their team, anyways the hunger might not be there and they can let their standards drop but they’re too consistent and good that they’ll drop points here and there but get 3 points left right and center. I mentioned how Manchester City has won 5 premier league titles in 6 seasons and if they win again next season that means they’ll have 6 out of the last 7 premier league titles including 4 in a row and since Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United, they’re dominating the Premier League in a way I’ve never seen before. The reason why I think it’s not a good look for the Premier League even though we saw this with Manchester United back then and we’ve seen the likes of Bayern Munich PSG Juventus dominate Bundesliga Ligue 1 Serie A respectively is in the Premier League a challenging league when you see a team win 5 out of 6 titles it’s a bad look for the league. 1. This could mean that Manchester City are just too good and even if they’re easily beatable you cannot stop them and those titles they’ve won they have had to win them the hard way on the final day and even last season when Arsenal were the best team in the league for most of the season because they hit top form they won again. 2. Has the level of competition in the premier league diminished and is the premier league turning into a farmers league right now, in any league when a team has that sort of dominance like winning 7 league titles in a row, English fans slander and hammer other leagues for being a farmers league. If Manchester City wins the premier league next season and continues dominating this league, you’ll question the competitiveness of the Premier League because when the same team wins over and over again that level of competition easily diminishes. I would like to see someone like Arsenal Liverpool Manchester United etc or any other team win the premier league next season but I have every feeling that it’ll be the same story as every season Manchester City will repeat as champs. From the viewers it can be frustrating to see, because at the start of every season, the excitement towards the premier league is noticeable and there’s a lot of optimism during preseason as other teams strengthen their squad and look set to challenge for the title and then they start off very well and mid season comes they suffer injuries slight dip in form they end up challenging for top 4 in this same period Manchester City hits their peak in the middle and end of the season and even when they drop points at times, they’re have the title all wrapped up again.

Kai Havertz is extremely overrated and based off of his Arsenal debut we saw this from him at Chelsea over the last 18 months, getting the best out of him is extremely difficult and that’s been evident under multiple managers that he’s a player who needs to do more on the pitch and cannot continue to rely on glimpses of quality. Everybody talks about Kai Havertz scoring the game winning goal in the champions league final for Chelsea 2 years ago and I get that football is about winning trophies and his goal won Chelsea the most important trophy in club football but outside of that moment he’s been really inconsistent and has never put up a good run of form for Chelsea and this move to Arsenal he seriously needs to step up his game and do more as he cannot expect to be living off that one moment forever he’s gotta produce right now. Kai Havertz is a very confusing player because when he was at Bayer Leverkusen the reason why he was so good because he scored a lot of goals at a young age and was an impressive player but in England he’s never scored goals at a consistent rate or even performed to a standard that he’s capable of playing at. He’s a versatile player and of course it’s important to be able to play in a variety of positions but you’re not even sure where you’ll get the most use out of him and whenever Kai Havertz plays there isn’t anything elite about his game and this makes it difficult for managers to find a position he’s comfortable in playing as whatever system you use that’s the only way you’ll see him perform. At Arsenal I wanna see more from him and yes he can have a moment of brilliance but football is about consistency and doing it week in week out and unfortunately Kai Havertz has no consistency in his game and he’s an enigma for managers.

That’s what we need another hybrid
