I can’t wait to see the Oregon defense with all the additions the off-season. Jabar is the new lockdown CB1, Harmon will help solidify the middle, an extra year of weight training should do wonders for Matayo U and Purchase, and there is more than enough depth all over the roster to keep fresh bodies all over the field. Nobody wins a Natty for having the best team on paper, but this is easily the most assembled talent Oregon has ever had, and if Dan can call the game well, they could be a favorite in every game they play.
@agent_JorDi3 ай бұрын
If Dan leaves this season with 1 loss he’s 34-6 as a coach, that doesn’t include the conference title game. Uo needs to prove to themselves that they can win, not anyone else. If ole miss or Tennessee had uo’s roster rn this conversation of “what have they won” wouldn’t be happening.

The bottom line is that all these teams, OU, OSU and Michigan-even though you are overlooking them, have vulnerabilities. It remains a very, very curious thing how Michigan continues to run outside of consideration here. All the emphasis is on the passing game which modern defenses are catching up to-a solid rushing attack is the greatest vulnerability against these complicated amoeba defenses.

This year - the game @ Oregon for OHIO ST. - isn't a determining factor - but - the end of the regular season will be. --- So the Big 10 Championship game is the - "determining factor" ! --- This OSU D is likely what will be another - "determining factor" - as the evolution of Knowles "Ivy League brain" and the talent loaded with NFL players. -?- A loss in Eugene is not a big deal for OSU and their ultimate goal. - - - Howard is quite capable of being - "good enough" - given all the talent surrounding him. I actually expect him to perform the needed role - as it is not an overwhelming task for a QB with his ability ? - - - Logically - I tend to agree with Joel Klatt - and see this Buckeye team winning it all - against Georgia in the final game. > Perhaps fittingly - by a field goal !?! - - - OSU won the 1st CFP Championship with 4 teams. Ironically - against Mariota - the Heisman winning QB ? (42 - 20) > And - they did it with their 3rd string QB !!! (( Gabriel / Howard )) -- They can be the 1st to win the 12 team CFP. ---?---
