Hey Paige! Don't worry you'll do really well in the exams I just know it! I am taking economics for my gcse's this year and I know alot of the curves and graphs can be intimidating. But pretty often the graphs are just a representation of the concept or the theory part of it. So my advice would be (especially in the last few days...cos time is precious) just go over the theory and make sure you understand the concepts as clear as day. I can totally relate to asking someone in the family about a subject and they are like: 'oh sorry I don't remember this or that or that!!' and your like 'well I guess there is nothing left to do but turn to the one SOURCE I have left and this one is most distracting KZfaq and Uncle Google!!!!!' I am in the last week of my exams and its just nice to know that everybody is going through the same thing!! Also love the saxophone segments, I know how playing instruments is a type of stress relief having learned the violin and piano. Love the content! Lots of love from Pakistan

Just because it's the last minute doesn't mean you should give up. I remember writing my last CAS exam and two weeks beforehand I seriously considered sitting out the exam. Finally decided to give it a try - fortunately my manager was more than slightly understanding and looked the other way when I wasn't doing much in the way of work. End result I passed. So just keep plugging away. And don't worry if you do fail - I know a lot of actuaries and very few of them never failed an exam.

I think my determination not to give up is why I have a tendency to cram and stay up late before exams, I always feel like that little bit more could make the difference 😅 thanks for the advice!

@Daniel Bautista For actuarial exams "way ahead" means months. Not weeks. Months. I wrote the CAS exams and exams were sat in May and November. After sitting the May exam I'd take a week or two off and start collecting the material for the November exam. Studying started in July (August at the latest) but until mid-September Friday and Saturday nights were mine (Saturdays and Sundays were just another study day) but sometime in mid-September there was no more going out for a pint after work on Friday - that was just more study time.

Hey Paige, I've been always respected you and your way of living the life. I know you can make it pass the exam this time too. I also got back to my university for first year's second term. But have a little issues. My thought is I want to reattend my first year, first term. With some reason, I'm feeling that I'm lost my way now. Thank you, anyway it's somehow very great to see you making well in your life. In a way, that motivates me if even a little more than previous. And I have few questions to help me out with some educational information for making my decision currently in my life too.

Hahaha london's little maps are useful.bu city is easy to get lost in. Also the outer zones of london are worth exploring, many hidden gems houses museums...

Paige, I use to have to write exams at university and at college and I did find them stressful, but I am sure that you will do well. Did you write your exams what were your other two exams on because I know that you were doing an Economic exam? When do you know your results?

Aware of these options, but also very aware of their reputation for terrible work-life balance. I have a good work ethic, but I want to enjoy my life as well and not work 24/7!
