I'd love to day hike or backpack there. I've day hiked and backpacked in every western state but never east of the Rocky Mountains

@@codybaird6084 thanks. It really is a beautiful hike and the shade will help you beat the heat.

I took my daughter on her first backpacking trip on most of this loop. We went September 21-22. Between now and then someone took a hatchet to the sign on the big Beechy cutoff and we missed the trail. Hiked a good half mile down the north fork trail before I broke out the compass and realized we were going the wrong way. It was a great trip and beautiful scenery. Thanks for sharing.

This and the sods have been on my radar for awhile. That one rock cairn was really cool. Great video! Thanks for letting us tag along.

Southwest Ohio Adventurers thanks man. We love this place, but we are a bit biased as it is right down the road just a little more than an hour. Dolly Sods is even more amazing!

Been looking for a Forest loop and that one looks beautiful. Lots of elevation though.

There is some elevation. Maybe check out some loops at Dolly Sods. Just as pretty if not more so and most of the trails there are more like 100-150 foot per mile. Check out the All Trails app, it is an excellent research resource. Thanks for watching and commenting.

You people need to quit stacking rocks in the wilderness...it's really unsightly and ruins the wilderness experience...it's almost as bad as leaving trash...leave it as you found it.

@@wvhikingadventures714 only promotes it...you can't go anywhere in WV and not see these...spruce knob is terrible, rock beds that were undisturbed for millions of years moved and stacked up...

@@russelljames1811 well if it makes you feel any better, high water in the creek or a hater has knocked it over since then.
