*Small warning to anyone using epoxy putty. Letting the epoxy putty dry on bare skin can be very damaging to the pours of your skin. It's recommended epoxy be kneaded and applied while wearing gloves.

Also, ventilation is recommended. If you can smell it, then you're not ventilated enough. Last time I molded epoxy, I did it outside but also used gloves that were too big, lol.

You should know that you can make your own baking clay super easily! I made an armature with the homemade stuff just yesterday and it turned out great! Here's the recipe: Ingredients: 2 Cups flour 1/2 cup table salt 1/2 cup water Stir all the ingredients in to a mixing bowl, pouring an extra 1/2 cup of water in to the bowl gradually. When mostly mixed, begin kneading the clay until there are no clumps left. Mold into desired shapes, the bake for 15-30 minutes at 250°. Voila!

@milesfletcher66848 жыл бұрын
+Keksgirl Keks From my experience, the baking clay works just fine. With that said, epoxy putty probably works better, but clay will work. :)

I remember watching this video the day it was uploaded. I mainly watched because it was interesting to me, but it had no real use for me at the time. I was in high school then. Fast forward to now and here I am in my college art class revisiting this video to help me make characters and figures for my assignments. Thank you for these guides Cran! ❤

Just a tip, if your puppet's feet have threaded nuts in them, and the table has a threaded nut, you can just use a bolt to quickly screw up into the feet from beneath the table, and because the table is threaded as well, the puppet won't budge.
