9 ай бұрынCrans Montana is located on a sunny high plateau above the Rhone Valley in Switzerland. The two neighbouring resorts of Crans and Montana together form Crans-Montana, one of the great Valais holiday destinations in the Swiss Alps at 1500 metres above sea level.
Crans Montana embodies the amenities of a modern resort with the vast nature and panoramic views of the Swiss Alps. The resort offers a wide range of accommodation, major sporting events and in particular its reputation as a golf mecca make up the modern side of Crans Montana and attract many international guests. Crans Montana is famous for sporting events. In winter, races are held in the FIS Ski World Cup, and in summer the resort is often used as a stage for major cycling races and there are mountain bike races. Golf has a long tradition in Crans-Montana: the 18-hole golf course with a wonderful view is located on the Crans plateau. The international elite meet here every year for a golf tournament. Five idyllic bathing lakes invite you to swim and there is a wide network of hiking trails including the spectacular Sounenweg. In the evening, you can end the day with a cosy fondue evening in one of the beautiful restaurants.
