Love the craps content! It's great to see someone who is willing to play the dont pass, so many craps videos are just place bets and then pressing until they inevitably get felted. Have to be flexible and bet with the direction the table is going.

Great content Victor. Consider laying all the numbers for $30 each (4,5,6,8,9,10) and hop the 7’s for $5 each on the come out roll to take advantage of those come out 7’s. When a point is set turn the lay bets off or take them down. Then lay your odds on the don’t pass. Keep the craps session going!

I like that you played the dark side. I never play the dark side, but it plays out well when so many 7s are coming out after the point is established. I’ll give this a go my next session, but I prefer playing the pass and come bets.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but first roll you put $10 on the don't pass, and then layed 200 in odds. Does this mean this is not a 3x4x5x table? I thought max lay would be 60

What's the reason for putting money on the come bet? Why not just put it on one of the numbers?

You can take odds on the Come bet which have a better payback % than placing numbers.

Not true. You need at least 6x odds to beat the place bet pay off. Of course 10x or 100x would be best of all.That why 3x,4x,5x odds are typical, the casino has it all figured out, for their benefit

Stop playing come bets. If you want numbers, just place the bets with the same amount you as you would end up taking odds on the come. So, place the 5 for $110. Hit it, throw the dealer $1 and power press to $275. Hit it again (same as if you won your come bet), and make $385 vs the $160 you made off your $10 come bet with $100 odds. You aren’t maximizing your return for your risk. Even if you just collect instead of power press, you still win more.

@@felixchien1664 because you have to roll the same number twice, you aren’t making enough extra money on the odds to offset the fact you didn’t get paid twice. Sure, you can place bets and come down to odds on a come bet, but It’s just better to not mess with come bets overall.

@@felixchien1664 yes, they are different but not enough to justify the bet. It’s better to win a bet twice at 7:5 on a 9 vs 3:2 once. Let’s say it was a $10 placed bet. Two winning rolls on a places bet pays you a net of $28. A $5 come bet with $5 odds to be equal to the $10 placed bet gets you $12.50. Let take it further and say you pressed up your $10 place bet all the way to $20 (pocketing $4) after the first roll, and then won again on the second roll you would win $28 plus the $4 in your pocket for $32 net profit. Bring down your placed bet (now $20) and you have a total of $52. For the come bet, the second roll winning roll would bring your bet down giving you a total of $22.50. Do you understand the difference now? You can turn a $10 bet into $52 vs $22.50. Come bets are sucker bets, plain and simple. Only people who don’t know how to play do those. The only way it makes sense is if you take at least 10x odds, and you had a placed bet first and you came down to use it as odds on your come. But that’s a less for another day.
