. Crash Bandicoot full 100% walkthrough. All boxes, gems, keys, bosses and endings. All main levels contain a gem. In order to acquire the gem you need to break every box in each level. There are 20 white gems and 6 colored gems. Many levels require you to have a certain colored gem to access secret areas. There are 2 keys which unlock bonus levels.

Dedex arch man 012 if u die on the special gems level and spawn at the check point, u have to quit and restart. It would be easier n faster with a 'restart level' button.

I love how in the bonus stages for Cortex he is just chillin on the other side waiting for you. Like what is he doing over there? Did he fall asleep? Is he doing his taxes? He doesn't come get you. He just waits for you to come to him, shakes his fist and then floats away on his hover craft.

I just got through the first game and boy was it something.. Quite the challenge. Grabbing those gems were not easy. I didn't play this on PS1 so finally got around to it now. I only had Warped back in the day. Very rewarding to finish this one. Thanks for this great guide.

Does failing in a bonus level count as a death? You don't really get to lose any lives and its just a bonus stage but can anyone confirm if dying there matters or not? OK, for anyone who might still be interested to know about this. Bonus stage deaths thankfully do NOT count as deaths so you can take it easy on those even if you fuck up. That happened to me but didn't die in the regular stage itself and managed to get the green gem.

ARE YOU SERIOUS?! there is a hidden switch at the beginning of the level on the lost city? (To get the Nbrio token) And here I spent countless hours on learning to backtrack the entire stage from the end switch becuase I thought that was the one! And when I finaly do it, the box is still not there becuase its not even that switch! I AM SO MAD! Thank god for this walkthrough

This game was hard enough to 100% back in the day. I just realized time trials are going to be an unholy nightmare. Native Fortress, The Lost City, Road to Nowhere, Sunset Vista, The High Road, Fucking Slippery Climb, and The Lab were nearly impossible to finish without dying, let alone quickly.

Anyone still playing this or going for this. Anytime u die in bonus area it’s fine. They don’t count as a death. Also I’d recommend just dying a few times in bonus area as when u spawn back with Aku aku sometimes to give u a better chance. Also the bridge maps. If u walk across the ropes instead of doing the jumps legit it’s so much easier and faster for both gems and speed times. Hope this helps

Tip Zero Death (Coloured Gems) levels and Bosses: die on purpose at the start of the level until you get a Yellow Aku Aku. Now you start with two extra hitpoints which will be very useful later.

TheUltimategeneral depends if you're a veteran or not, I played the shit out of these as a child, for veterans I'd say 2/10, for newcomers a 5/10

Tekurukato Meikitatakikarinari More realistically, for veterans 3-4/10, for newcomers 6-7/10 (definitely 7 if the player is unaware of things like getting the box gem in Piston It Away while also still not being as used to it as "veterans.") Honestly, it may even be higher than that considering getting the platinum requires acquiring at least gold relics for all levels in all three games (granted, that was already a requirement in Warped for 105%) Either way, it's certainly not 9-10/10 territory, so it's not too hard although Crash 1 can be frustrating at times, Crash 2 has two levels in particular that are still difficult for 100% (Cold Hard Crash and Piston It Away,) and some of Warped's relics are difficult.

I'm a seasoned Crash player having owned these on the PS1, but would not consider myself a veteran (Spyro is a different story lol). I have to say, after only playing the first game (and not all the levels yet), I'm really starting to think this is going to be a game I'm just not going to platinum. I shall try, but am not expecting it. Which is disappointing because I really wanted the platinum for all 3.

I think a lot of people won't platinum this game. Getting the coloured gems is pretty challenging.

NathanMUFCfan not too much. More so, getting gold relics on every level is the challenging part, especially slippery climb. The key is to take ur time but u simply can't 😂
