Thank you! With this guide I was finally able to push through the last gold relics remaining! Piston it away was by far the hardest one, it made me not want to play the game for months, but yesterday I went back for it and got rid of this mind block and then it was all a breeze past this point (in comparison)

Filthy Animal As someone who did these time trials, they are. The slide-jump-spin is crucial, especially in Warp Rooms 4 and 5

Oh my, I did it without the slide-jump-spin. Maybe that's why it was so hard... well, not that hard, but it would have been way easier if i'd known that.

It's the worst part of the trophies they added, nobody but a handful of people really cared about speed running these games when they first released because of how janky the games were, they were just happy to finish the games. Now it has included trophy hunting its a requirement to learn to speed run them and the times are held against previous speed runner attempts so we have to get times in line with hardcore speed running fans, its madness.

@@CB-lw7ty most levels are actually ok imo. Only a handful of levels that were already difficult casually gave me trouble to get the gold relics. Hell, I even got some platinum relics by accident, but mostly gold.

Anyone else stuck on Hangin' Out? The lowest I can go on it is 1:09 unfortunately. Been on it for almost 2 hours now. Lol

Yeah the problem is those fans, really pain in the arse! Coco is faster on the monkey bars than Crash is though. Some of these levels are real pants to get gold on.

renvidon It’s a tough one. It took me 25 minutes to beat it with 59:68. You just have to use his guide as a way to review how fast you’re going. For example, if you aren’t where he is or PAST it when his clock is at 50 seconds, restart. He BARELY got gold so if you’re behind him, you can’t beat the gold requirement of 1:03:85. You quite simply have to beat HIS run because his run is the bare minimum. I’m sure you’ve completed it by now, as it has been over a year since you left this comment, but in the off chance that you haven’t, I hope this helps!

The lab and ascent dlc from crash 1 was hardest than all crash 2 level the dlc took me 8 hours no stop of trying i was avout to cry at a moment

Brah I'd rate it an 8. If you're not familiar with all the different moves Crash is capable of, you'll struggle. But it's easier (but by no means simpler) when you know when and how to use the slide-jump-spin. It's a lot of trial and error

Bob Hilly No, you can’t. You have to get the sprinting ability before you can earn a gold/platinum relic on all of the levels. Just finish the main story. You’ll get the ability after beating the final boss.

Yeah, I’m on “Piston it” right now. It’s the 21st relic for me and I hate it. I was trying to get it for about 45 minutes, but the furthest I could get through the level was 80% through. I’m sure I can do it, but I was perhaps a little too focused on the fact that he BARELY got gold with less than a second from the minimum requirement so I was dying a lot trying to cut more time off so I wasn’t cutting it so close like him. I ended up getting off, as I had already been playing for hours and it got pretty late. I’ll pick it up again tomorrow.
