It’s About Time - for a brand-wumping new Crash Bandicoot game! Crash fourward into a time-shattered adventure with your favorite marsupials.
Neo Cortex and N. Tropy are back at it again and launching an all-out assault on not just this universe, but the entire multiverse! Crash and Coco are here to save the day by reuniting the Four Quantum masks and bending the rules of reality.

It would’ve been nice if 106% was achievable with gold relics (not that I’m anywhere near finished the game yet). Does anyone have any advice for getting decent time trial times in this game? I got a sapphire relic on the first level and I’m struggling to even get through most levels with dying (it was hard enough going for Flashback Tapes without having to go through the whole level in most cases).

Having done 106%: *use the triple-dash(i hate it, but thats another issue) whenever you have any spare moments on solid ground and even in the air *jump on boxes insyead of spinning to gain some ground to get farther when possible. Same for enemies *spin enemies into TNT or Nitro that may be in your path to clear room for triple-dashing *slide & double-jump across long gaps (Cortex Castle and Dino levels) instead of waiting for platforms *use and save Aku Aku masks as needed. sometimes better to save all 3 for brief invincibility, sometimes better separately depending on how you play *some time stop boxes are a trick, you may be faster skipping some here and there and it isn't like in CTR where you get a final time reduction if you get them all *turn off character voice levels if you need to repeat a level over and over, they will grind on your ears

You should have said 106%, that's the real nightmare. You can actually get to 100% without doing the time trials, but that means you have to get the perfectionist medals where you get every box without dying once in the level. Good luck on Toxic Tunnels...

@@krackers5061 When I did it, I did everything in the game except relics and I got 100%. The relics I needed for 106%. I'm sure there is more than one way to reach 100% but I saved relics for last because I knew that those were going to piss me off the most

@@GamerBot125 You still don't need perfect relics for 100, heck you don't even need to collect the n verted gems to get to 100, just completing them is enough. Getting all gold relics and completing flash back tapes is enough.

I just want Pasadena O'Possum to return as a playable character and as a cowgirl adventurer in future mainline Crash games and that we get to know more about her origins such as if she was mutated by Dr. Cortex and how Ebenezer Von Clutch was created

@@GameShack2006 I know Pasadena and Von Clutch originated a spinoff racing game but this would be the perfect opportunity to "reintroduce" the post Sony/Naughty Dog era characters with the way Activision is going with this Crash 4 "timeline"

True, it is almost like Toys For Bob didn't know where to stop in terms of difficulty, the game is overloaded with way too much going on at once, N verted mode was unnecessary and not needed, Time Trials are the worst they have ever been (to the point it feels like they weren't meant to be in the game, like it was forced in at last minute), Perfection relics could have been great (again the overloaded levels didn't help), Cortex and the Jetboard controls are horrible -- At the very least 'TFB' fixed the Polar sections.

Hey activision, I had this dream where shrek smash n’ crash racing was remastered but with a difficulty setting and a master mode something that came straight from rayman arena. Do you have any plans of remastering your dreamworks titles? (Reason I ask of this is because no one cares about movie games than they did at the start of the 21st century since the apple phone launched.)

I've already got Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time on PS4 version in four months ago. But I can't wait to Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time on PS5 version soon by March 12th if I could get my hands on PlayStation 5 system soon. 🙂

Maybe don't talk about 106% like it's a good thing, or a highlight of the game. It's not. It's objectively bad and achieving it requires suffering through some objectively bad game design. Which is a shame because going through this game casually is quite possibly the best Crash experience ever.

I know. Got the PS4 version pre-ordered before October 2. And later, after the PS5 version got announced, I checked the PS Store, and voila! A free upgradable copy for the PS5 version on March 12!

It's kind of 50/50. They did mess with the formula yes, but they kind of had to otherwise we might have complained about the copy and pasted system. The only thing I say that they did fuck up with is the platinum relics being a requirement for 106%, only gold should be required, not platinum.

I agree I don't mean to sound ungrateful but it's really hard and tedious not to mention it feels padded at times However I'm loving the soundtrack level scenery and some of the costumes so I'm torn on the game I need to finish it already but I would much rather play the n sane trilogy again or the originals' and that's bad because this game is supposed to be a continuation of the classics but it feels completely different too me at least they tried.

Ow look we can only be bothered to optimize are game when new consoles come out so why does Spyro and the Crash remakes have long load times and constant FPS dips at 4K on descent PC's with M.2 or SSD's.
