I think the triple spin is kind of a downgrade from the sprinting shoes because for one the spamming of square you need to do hurts my thump after not that long of a time and for second it feels unprecise because you can not control yourself that much while spamming spin. I hope this is a one time only thing in the franchise.

It didn't take long to figure out how Triple Spinning works... but I don't really like it TBH. Jolting forward in fits and starts is extremely disorienting when trying to go fast, and that's the _only_ time you'll ever be using it.

toys for bob my get some law suits because smashing the button like that repeatidly will cause strain injuries, when there was the running boots feature, soo yeah ive been trying it i listen to the sound of the spin and get a rhythm from that im 7 seconds behind plat relic on first level it goes well then my finger fatigues do i get sloppy on the slippery climb bit

Man I still have to beat the main story mode than do the time trials like I said I don’t move onto the next world until I 100% a level unless it has a gem route than I come back later lol but yea I didn’t know about this man I still have a ways to go

I thought it was going to be difficult but it actually isnt. Its only the timing you have to practice. Took me 2 minutes and I only use the triple spin for platinums as its one less button to press compared to the slide spin which I tried for weeks using O and R1 and I just cant feel comfortable at all so I made a compromise of eliminating the slide spin altogether and just focus on the triple spin. Really helpful video as always👍

Very much dislike the triple spin even with the help of the timing it’s still very precise and after trying to do the first level for couple hours! My right hand was very strained from all the button presses, I like the idea but the timing imo needs to be lifted just a little bit more Not so much where it’s spammy easy but just not 0.5 seconds worth

Im going from hardest to easiest levels instead of the opposite. Somehow got platinum and perfect on cortex castle and perfect on bears repeating. You might call me crazy, bizarre but my motivation is self negativity so for example in how my mind works "I can't do this, I cant get perfect nor platinum on cortex castle 5 hours later: got both. Example 2: I can never get perfect on bears repeating because the crates are too far apart and can't get used to the mechanics 50 attempts later: got perfect So for me I can NEVER get 106%, I can never get 38 platinum relics, I can never get 21 platinum tapes, I can never get 38 perfect relics. Translation it leads to I can but what I need are the 4 P's of practice, positivity, perseverance and patience A LOT. It'll be 2021/2022 before I 106% as my mind is too preoccupied with art, ami bandicoot💚, walking to help increase my mental strength (that ill need for this game) which helped me get 100,000 steps in 24 hours so I'll only play the game 1-2 times a week for 2-3 hours max Like I said, excellent video, keep it up 👍

Well got all the platinums with just the triple spin. Only slid spun when the gaps were very small. Now to go for a long relaxing walk. Hope for players that can't slide spin, you don't as I couldn't, so I had to compromise by eliminating the slide spin all together. Triple spin is effective by itself

You're just completing the bonus level the wrong way. Since triple spin is unlocked once you've finished the game, you should have been able to complete every level without it

All 38 platinums (f purple, its hideous) doable with just the triple spin? As everyone is different I tried the slide method but my autistic brain just cant catch up with the fast commands of slide then spin, no matter how much I try, my brain just can't catch up, unless I had 100 energy drinks in me then I might😁 if slide helps, can you assign different button commands so my fingers dont go all over the controller lol ONLY if slide is a must, if triple spin is good enough than THANK GOD Triple spin took me 2 minutes to get used to and the timing was there and I really enjoyed it. Got 2 platinums with it so far including Cortex Castle. For my sanity Ill only play once every 2-3 days for 2-3 hours so realistically I'll get the platinum trophy by 2022. I love learning at a slow pace, that's my natural pace. Thanks, instant like

A trick I found out from Viperian's CTR days: you can use the PS4's Accessibility options to switch basically any buttons you want. Back then it was vital for pulling off proper U-Turns with Analog controls. Here though, the default controls should be fine for me... though the mechanic itself is going to annoy me I'm sure.

I have watched videos, I have tried it and I just can't get it no matter how hard I try. Honestly if I could figure it out I would attempt the dev times but I can't. They should have left it as the running shoes. I mean Akano gives you infinite spinning. Since I can't get the hang of this I'll have to settle for platinum using slide spin. Last but not least whoever makes the next Crash Bandicoot game if there is one please bring back the RUNNING SHOES.

Well slide spinning is always faster than triple spin. When you are on a flat ground I suggest to slide spin all the time, and use triple spins only when in the air

I like triple spin more. It's a lot more fun than holding down one button imo. It's kinda like in CTR with drift boosting. I love it!

Never seen developer Like Toys for bob that did everything in their power to piss fans off. Very long levels, inverted levels, characters with trash controls aka Cortex, retarded triple spin, no aiming button, animal levels with super downgraded trash controls just to make it harder. I hope they fire person that is responsible for game direction.

All this just to be a little faster,,, the game is already hard as it is, I barely just managed to complete the story, nevermind the gems,, and doing this spin perfectly, while not dying in the level and dont missing the box,,,, and on cortex castle and the get a platinum relic on all the levels,,,, jeez Christ,,, I say no thanks that just , crazy absolutely not doing that,,,, just going through the story was hard enough

For real. Levels are way too long, triple spin make you very imprecise, way too many boxes, hidden boxes, platinum time trial requirements and inverted levels is all bullshit. We want good game not long and bad one.

Triple spin is absolutely horrible why call it crash 4 when you remove crash 3s best part speed shoes. These devs were idiots they thought it would be better to destroy your controller spamming a button rather than hold a button down. 0:56 Yeah this is just straight up dishonest. You do not need to master triple spins. Perfect slide spin chains are faster on the ground and many of the Toys for Bob relics can be conquered without ever beating Cortex. Nice clickbait, though.
