KZfaq went ahead and identified it (for the ad revenue of course...). It's "Swampy Jo" by Dominic Glynn. Probably taken from a song library for the trailer and not written for the game.

Ripper Roo is in the game. Tiny and the Komodo Bros. were also already made but under different names.
