Hi everyone. I've been pretty silent about all of this, but I want to sincerely apologize for the commentary during the run. Shortly after it happened, I was reassured by many that it wasn't as bad as people were saying. But now that I have had a month to reflect on it and receive more feedback, I realize now that I was completely out of line, talking over the others and basically not letting anyone else speak. In an attempt to give good, informative commentary, I overstepped my bounds and ultimately ended up doing more harm than good for the run overall. I know this doesn't excuse or change what I did, but I just want you all to know that I'm completely aware that I screwed up hard. I'm not going to try and defend my actions anymore because there's no reason to. I was wrong to handle commentary the way I did, and I am very sorry that I brought down the quality of the run because of it.

Don't beat yourself up about it. The commentary wasn't bad, just obviously too much interupting. It's obvious you are passionate about the game and anyone in the comments acting like your commentary was a legitimate transgression is just plain wrong. Respect for apologizing and aknowledging a fault though.

Hey bro, I just watched this for the first time today. You did speak over that other guy on the couch a lot, but you also explained a huge and very intricate game really well. I think you were a bit excited and nervous, which is to be expected. You didn't do anything harmful though. You've obviously reflected on this a lot over the last month. That's a really great thing, and with that kind of open minded mentality you will always be taking steps in the right direction. Keep it up and thanks for your commentary.

Yeah, don't worry about it. It's really not too big of a deal. Most people are commenting on here, including myself, because we want to give gdq feedback on what we want to hear from commentary. Don't take these comments as critiques directly on yourself. It was a great run and you guys informed me a lot on a game that I love! I look forward to seeing more from you guys!

I thought the commentary aspect was genuinely good and very helpful. You clearly understand the aspects of the speed run very well, and as someone who does't run the game I had no issue following along at all. It is just as a viewer who is socially awkward and quiet, and gets flustered if I try to speak and am talked over I just felt empathy for the other person. Does that make sense? I don't have an issue with you just a sympathy pain for the other participants. I still think you did a great job, and I'm sorry if the negativity has had an impact on you. I'd be nervous as hell rambling if I knew all of GDQ was watching me. You were essentially 9/10, right? So, don't feel so bad!

1:17:00 im pretty sure th "N" is intended for a dual sided pun. N gin ( engine) Nitro gin (nitrogen) Seeing as the green explosives crates are called "nitro" , it's pretty safe to assume the "N" is for nitro.

Super powers include phasing through walls (But only after rubbing against a corner for a bit), super speed (When jumping backwards), and occasionally teleporting items, or himself through seemingly arbitrary actions that cause objects to be somewhere they're really not supposed to be, and doors to lead to the wrong places. He also tends to punch villains mid monologue, because he skips the cutscenes.

On Piston it Away you can use the bonus area as a checkpoint after going back for the death route.

I remember discovering that Glitch High Jump during my casual playthrough on the Switch, but totally forgot about it when playing through again on PC recently. Neat that VV brought it back for N. Sane; I didn't know it originated as a glitch!

The worst part of any commentary is when a bunch of little things that don't need explanation get explained. The runner seemed so chill and I love crash but I can't get through this video because the commentary is so dry and tiresome.

I've only watched the first two levels, so far, but I'm curious as to why the runner doesn't skip the after-level crystal and gem Crash animations?

In the N. Sane Trilogy you can only skip so much of the animation. The points at which Blunts closed the animations is the earliest points at which they could be skipped.

There are some slight framerate drops in handheld mode. But other then that it runs fine on switch from what i've experienced. If you want the absolute best experience, PC and PS4 run it best from what i've seen.

From a casual play through perspective the game is fine on Switch. Speed wise it is definitely the worst version. PC is the best version by far in both cases but it takes some good specs to be worth it.

On ps4 the speed is fine, the jumping mechanics and platform design was tweaked and its painfully fucked up in certain areas in the games lol frustrating but worth it I'd still say.
