Lewis, you have to keep the power ups in mind. The Tornado lets you cross gaps (you can spin over all sections with floating carpets) and the bazooka lets you break crates and enemies from afar while waiting (like in 33:42). The way you play makes it look like you're playing Crash 2 but sometimes you remember there's powerups.

Glad you got the Plat on High Time. The trend with Crash 3 Plats is that they can get pretty tight, but fun regardless. Also tips on Sphinxynator: Go back from the start, shoot the clock, and break the time boxes. There are two time boxes behind the start. This level is also cycle-dependent, but you can't try to skip the cycles like in Tomb Wader. Jetski is also hard like the Warp Room 1, Future Frenzy isn't that hard and doesn't depend on cycles. In Warp Room 5, beware of Gone Tomorrow as they got IMO one of the tightest time in whole Crash 3.

Crash 4 looks hellish for relics just because of that triple spin thing

As annoying as High Time is in this remake, the original PS1 version was worse as there was a bug on the final monkey bar section where Crash would let go of them for no reason if you had the triple Aku Aku when jumping up to them. I lost so many good runs to that bug.

Pfft, woah, longest episode yet at 35 minutes, and... I enjoyed every second of it! Crash 3 as a whole is my current favourite Crash platformer despite my opinion of 4 as the BEST, as in I enjoy it the most out of all the games, but I think Crash 4 is overall better due to the new artstyle, amount of content, difficulty, etc. Anyway, great job on the past few relics, your 3 months worth of Relic skill in these games are really starting to show after every level you've been through. High Time is actually considered to be one of the harder times in the game by most people I think, I barely beat the time when I did it. You heard the right warnings about Sphynxinator by the way, it's long, has annoying door cycles, a very weird way of getting the clock, and a tight time. Remember to spam slide on the mud, it's just like the Crash 2 ice. I see why you're worried about Tell No Tales as it is an infamous jetski level, but it's probably the best out of all of them, trust me. It's pretty long and has a lot of run-ending obstacles, but do remember to damage boost at least once, it'll make things so much easier. Time ain't that bad either, but as for Ski Crazed and Hot Coco... I think I might puke thinking of those. Yeah. Good luck with them regardless, I'll be back next time for tips, and yep, Jactic is the savior of our sanity!

Yoyo, Lewis! Great videos as usual ma man! Heres some help! Ya know how there is hidden crates at the start of Sphynxinator? Yeah, they turn into a whole lot of seconds when you grab the clock. Ypu gotta get behind then and hit the clock with the Wumpazooka, grab the seconds AND THEN you do the level, if you dont you probably will never get a Platinum

You can hold down the slide button to slow down on plane levels, which is very useful when you're within range of shooting blimps/planes but don't want to advance further in that direction as it would put you at a greater distance from other blimps/planes. This trick is also useful in Rings of Power as it allows you to make tight turns while preserving purple speed boost.

You reminded me that I should get back to Crash 4. And actually doing the developers time relics.

Most of the platforming levels require you to be on a certain cycle to get the platinums. Even the plane levels have a pattern you need to go as well.

Lewis you neeeeed to go after the developer times in crash 4, you've basically done every single crash game to perfection; every time relic, 100% every crash game including dev times for CTR, It would be only right to complete the last game in the series so far by doing dev times on its about time! Even if you streamed it, I'm sure we would all enjoy the content

That 2 crate in Tomb Wader, you can hit it with the wumpa zooka from the entrance while the water is up along with the aku and 1 crate tbh :) Triple aku also keeps the water down :D

The ski levels aren't too bad as some of the crates will make you wanna hit them but it's not actually necessary since you'll still waste time without cutting turns Edit: You're right about the cycle in Tomb Wader. Once you get triple Aku, the water doesn't rise until the invincibility ends

all teh guys with the bug shields are platforms, so what you can do, in the section that's always high tide is jump on the aku crate, double jump to the enemy, then to teh crates and you should have low tide to clear the rest of it. saves much more than the 1 second crate

You should do a series on ctr where you try and beat all your best times you set when you were doing the dev trials
