It is the fifth installment in the Crash Bandicoot series and the first Crash Bandicoot game not to be developed by Naughty Dog (who had left the series to develop the Jak and Daxter series), the last game released for the PlayStation console and to be published by Sony, and the first in the party genre.

Did you know? If you mess up too much, the whole stage can get broken in an insta-loss?? I know because I tested it 🤣😂 Also, the best part is when the boss misses the stage with the minions, because they just bounce off the stage instead of landing 🤣
