This is a somewhat difficult challenge.
You can only get points from using a missile to steal the tiles from any of your opponents.

@@emilianoacuna9705 Actually you can play crystal challanges in 4 player mode in the demo version. Just activate the cheat menu

the easiest way to do it, is with Cheat Engine. Switch the Challange between normal and crystal und search for changed values (must be 0 or 1). If you have found them, change the Value while loading the Arena.

This crystal challenge really depends on luck. It's easier if a lot of rockets spawn so you can steal their squares. Happened to me one time where the rockets don't spawn for 45 seconds for no reason...

A hard ass mission played masterfully. The relief I felt as a young lad when I finally beat this level was insurmountable. You made it look like taking out the trash. I may just dust off the old copy and check it out for old times sake

This was the hardest one for me back then yet I thought it was so cool. I watched this video many years ago but it is now it struck me I never left a comment. So here I go. Ughhhh I remember being so happy when I finally got the crystal

This one I’m still trying to do. But it appears you have helped me discover the meta for this crystal. Basically I see you get a missle and get close enough to someone with a lot of squares and camp the shit out of them until they walk into your missiles line of sight

THE ONLY WAY TO COLOR SQUARES IS BY STEALING THEM FROM OTHER PLAYERS! Bruh. One of the hardest challenges in this game, but still beatable. You need some luck and good positioning.

In the background during the crystal challenge, the "5¢ SODA" sign on the recycling bin is a reference to the motorcycle levels (Hog Ride, Road Crash, Orange Asphalt, and Area 51?) from Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped.

Got the crystal today with only 50 points after so many attempts. I was only 1 point ahead. It's frustrating especially when you finally hit someone with your rockets just to watch how your opponents are destroying your fields or hit you with their rockets as it if was nothing. Damn.

One thing that's noticeable from this challenge is that the AI goes easy on you, like notice how low the scores/point the AI have compared to the usual Trophy/Relic challenges, they're actively goes the long route reaching the point box. The challenge is complete bullshit that the dev has to nerf the AI to be more dumber on you, so you can have the chance to win

Every mini game was a breeze until you got to the damn pinball and pogo levels. You could mess around with everything else but once you got to these levels you’d better sit your ass up straight
