The first time i was introduced to virtue theory was at law school. My university studies were an important part for my coming back to Christ and the church story. It was almost as if I had to become a lawyer to become Catholic again.

I don't understand how anyone striving for holiness can say covid and the lack of access to receiving the Most Blessed Sacrament was no biggie .... Should I have holy envy that the battle is so effortless for them ? lol

I like to listen to CS Lewis lectures on youtube, but I listen to them at double speed, and sometimes while I'm doing something else too. It does not seem hard to me. If other people have trouble with this, then it's no wonder nobody can understand what I'm talking about when I try to tell them something that I think is important.

As for me, virtues prescribed in Aquinas 101 together the Holy Eucharist are better than any human counseling and inner healing service ,for grace perfects nature and for every vice there is an antidote of virtue against the vice.
