I was more impressed by the slow down on lap 5 for Papu's, hitting the box for wumpa and getting 2nd place with a reverse bomb just before the Pyramid to keep him back in 2nd... 💣 Tactical! 😎

@@notes1085 Depends on the skill gap... If you are evenly matched the races are just as exciting as item races, especially when it's close the whole way 👍

@@williampjr1233 if all 8 players agreed to race itemless, it would be fun. But if some players keep throwing items at you while you're committed to being itemless...

I personally try to run Itemless in Matchmaking 90% of the time, I'm often that much faster items are pointless for me 🤷 If I do cross a good racer it's nice to go Itemless, because it gives them a chance to maybe steal a win from me which I'm always greatful to see, even if they need the item to do it... And if they also happen to go Itemless and the skill gap is close it makes for a thrilling race ✌️

Ranking usually doesn't mean much when items are involved... You can know the best lines and be able to take them all day, but if you get hit a bunch and another player doesn't, you probably won't win no matter how good your lines are 👍

@@williampjr1233 agree, the items really make a lot of difference, especially in a race that only has the best For example, I'm the top 1000 thousand in the world rankings and when I play with the best in my country, I still manage to win some races, online, luck counts a lot.

also that chicken is prolly one of my fave now from penta to n.oxide to that
