Personally excited most for Team Sonic Racing, but will probably pick up Crash Team, too. I’ve had Mario Kart 8 since I got my Switch, but I personally don’t have much fun with it. Bad character roster, horrible item balance, and a couple too prominent bad items make it an overall unenjoyable experience. Glad I’ll have some real alternatives soon

I understand that portability is a big thing for some ppl but if you're like me and you have a switch and another console and u keep ur switch docked majority the time then it makes sense to get it on the more powerful console... If Sony wants to be on top of Nintendo, then they need to make more exclusive games and maybe come up with a design for the PSP 3 with better hardware for the Switch. Making Crash as exclusive to Sony as possible won't help because even after post N Sane Trilogy, not a lot of people recognize Crash, not even little kids. Remember, Crash is still a cult classic that only people from the 90's and early 2000's remember. He's not a platformer giant like Mario

Crypto again, great points! I liked how you brought up maybe working on a portable console for PlayStation to help boost sales when fighting against Nintendo. I can agree with something like that because a lot of people would like to play their favorite consoles on the go. I personally would. As for kids not knowing who crash is? I’d have to disagree. My little brother who is 9 knows who crash is. All of his friends know who crash is. They’re all excited as much as I am. I’m 21 and played the original CTR and have bought the game multiple times whether it be ps1 copies or PS3 ports of the game. I think them making exclusive content for the game will pull people from other consoles solely for the fact that they want the nostalgic feel. They want the look and feel of the ps1 days even if it’s just karts and skins and a track. As for Sony focusing on Exclusive games, they’ve done that and won. There are so many exclusive PS4 games that are too good. Again, I can agree with you on some points but I personally believe Sony should keep the exclusive deals on this game. And if they get more (and I hope they do) then so be it. This is coming from someone who has all 3 consoles. MKDX on Switch, Forza on XBOX but what does PlayStation have? Gran Turismo? Sure it has a big fan base but I personally see CTR as the main driving game for this console. And because it’s not exclusive anymore I believe Sony should have exclusive content.

Sony has more than just Gran Turismo, they had racing games like Jak X Combat Racing, Modnation Racers, and Little Big Planet Karting. Granted, they're not as popular as Mario Kart and Forza, but I would love to see another sequel to Modnation Racers. As for the PSP 3 or PS Vita 2, however you wanna call it, I'd say it should just be a hardware add on that you connect to your smart phone, tablet, laptop, or any monitor. Think of it kinda like those controllers that you attach to your phone but with PlayStation hardware that differentiate those games from mobile app games. If you ask me, that sounds like a great idea because most people chose smart phones over handhelds; and the consumer has the monitor but Sony has the hardware, therefore manufacturing costs should be cheaper that the Switch. Honestly, I stopped buying handhelds after the DS and PSP, therefore I don't own a 3DS and Vita. Instead I bought a Surface Pro which is a laptop tablet and it can do light gaming like apps, emulators, and steam games. Plus the screen is bigger and you can attach a controller too. It even has a kick stand just like the Switch. So hopefully Sony takes advantage of the mobile market

And as for Kart Racers, sure there were Mod Nation racers, LBPKarting, Jak X but they weren’t HUGE. Can you honestly say you sat down with friends multiple times and played those games? I’ve sat down and played CTR with friends and family multiple times. I owned MOD nation racers on my PSP as a kid. LBPKarting was already dying right after the 3rd game. (Loved LBP by the way). And yeah I totally agree with the idea for a portable console by PlayStation.

agreed mate. and I only have 2 controllers for local play on my PS4. Whereas I got plenty for my Switch. I was deadset on the Switch version due to all the controllers I have, portability, and currently not paying for a PS PLus account. But this extra and exclusive content... may just end up buying both lol.

Mmm i have both, ps4 and switch, and I enjoy way more the switch. Yes, the graphics are little worse but nothing to worry about really, both Crash Insane Trilogy, in ps4 and switch look amazing.... Im getting the switch version. For me it has way more value to play it on the go with friends, portability is a huge +1 for me. And graphics dont differ that much. For 1 track and retro skins is not enough for me to change to ps4 version.. Thats what I think ✌️cheers

Playstation is being smart about it. They invest in their future. They try to grab exlusivity deals at every point they can. Xbox on the other hand... I think it might die in the coming decade :) Im an Xbox player BTW. I just feel this way because this is what it looks like to me. Xbox is not putting itself on the map while playstation takes over the entire thing. I can only commend the playstation leaders who so competently grow their services and products. Kudoz boys. Hopefully Xbox will follow soon before it dies out 👍

@@OzkanArac thats true. Im an xbox owner as well, and i believe they are mainly focusing on cross play with nintendo and the new streaming service. In a way, xbox will still somehow pull itself together in the upcoming years while sony will completely depend on exclusive stuff across all games due to not being cross play friendly. Tbh Im Not one who cares about frame rate. As long as the game isn't slow as molasses or running like a KZfaq video on bad WiFi, then I'm fine. And that goes for both consoles, Not just switch.

Kurama Okay. I think those of us with higher standards for racing games care a great deal. Really hard to go back to 30fps after experiencing a buttery smooth 60fps racer.
