One of my favorite Crassula plants, Crassula tecta has both an interesting shape and an interesting texture. You can also see that mine here is just about to bloom. It steals the show on "365 Days of Plants" at #348.
In this video I'll discuss where it is originally native to, where I'm growing it in my home, and basics like light, watering and fertilizing.

I love crassula, I am trying to grow more succulents, they can be a challenge during the winter. Thanks so much for sharing and when this series ends it will be sad but I am excited to see what you have in store for us next, this project has been a labor of love and we are all loving every moment of it.

I like this crassula alot... especially when it's stressed and flushes a tinge of red on the edges of the leaves! Nice planter too.

Planter actually looks like something used in Japanese cuisine a lot for “chawanmushi”. Do you drill holes into your ceramics that don’t come with a drainage holes, or do you find that unnecessary?

I'm guessing she tends to forgo it as she has a tea-tin collection that she grows a lot of her cacti in, and has mentioned in the past how careful she is with watering them.
