I collect so many things and many different types of artist dolls and have since the late '80s, so for me less is more. Now I'd rather have just a few high-end dolls. I live in a tiny home since my divorce, so I don't have a lot of room. I also seem to go to the same ones when I hold them. Even though I'm buying clothes more than I should, I adore them in sleepers. They look sweet and seem to stay safe that way. I change the swaddle blankets and lovies the most. I'm definitely hooked on Jellycat, and that cherry swaddle blanket would look great with my Jellycat cherries. 🥰🍒💕

Thx for the video! Yes, the hobby is a personal evolution of our tastes & ideas in 'things' related to our collecting. That's why we all agree it's an expensive hobby for most of us! Six years ago I had no attraction to the blank kits, but now I am enamored by them. I assemble them, dress them & photograph them. It's especially fun for me to switch out limbs or heads to make what to me is a better combo. The end goal is to eventually reborn them myself.

Well another sweet video , off yours!!Yoù allways pick up and hold your babies so carefull as it should ;-) be!! Athena is precious.About the graving for another reborn , or doll or so , well ...uh If I want to have one accept from the 3 lifelike bought dolls in my house , uh ... I have to make myself another unicate 😛 and try my hardest.Offcourse that would not be the same to everyone .But still I think silicone would be the most life-like , unfortunately I`ve never had one , though i gave my granddaughter a micro/mini one and that allready feels so realistic this silicone.Sometimes it will also help to make some clothes for a special one.Thanx for sharing your video!!!!

Hello, your baby girl is absolutely gorgeous. Yes very realistic, extremely. I have the same babies from six years ago. Because we are travelling I cannot add heaps of new accessories but I can change clothing. I don’t feel the need to buy another baby, I just love my Hope (Chloe) by Claire Taylor. She is about eight years old now. I agree totally just add new items and gives a whole new love of our babies. I hope you and your family are doing well. I love your videos. I must say it is lovely to see you enjoying your babies, yes you have now found what this hobby is about. Sending love and hugs🤗❤️😘😊👋

What a great conversation Tasha about this topic!! I am selling some babies from my collection because I am so overwhelmed and I’m really not enjoying them like I should because I look at them and I love them all but I’m like well who do I dress and who should I pick up and then I just walk out of the doll room , but that is all changing . I will have a big collection still but it will feel better for me knowing I am able to let some go . This silicone is sooo realistic I agree and I’m loving that bottle that you have!! ❤️😘❤️😘❤️

Thank you Staci, I think this is something that so many of us as collectors have struggled with. The feeling overwhelmed & not knowing who to change, buy clothes for, pick up, make videos with Extra. There are some dolls in my collection that just have a lot of sentimental value to me that will probably always stay in my collection, but now I just don't bring many dolls in to avoid that lol I also learned it's really wonderful getting to see another Mommy enjoy a baby that was not doing much here. That helps in being able to let some go. I think the longer we collect the more we learn about the type of collectors that we are. Time, space & money of course play into that, but for me it's mostly the time in not wanting to feel overwhelmed and to be able to enjoy the other aspects of the hobby like shopping for clothes, accessories & even furniture! I'm very much enjoying that part of it now! And yes my silicones seem to be mostly my go to babies now. I think for me they just feel & look more like a living baby. 🥰

I do have one baby that is a custom coming and it’s Silicone but have have been selling so I’m please to know people are still willing to buy….of course at the right price because people honestly don’t want to pay tons like we did . so cute and cuddly looking baby girl a reason i got my littlest is because i wanted a little baby to snuggle with while watching tv and use my bottles i've got and paci's however im not bonding with him as much id like to be and he does not have many close to change into becouse i have no NB outfits thank you for sharing

Hey Tasha, thanks for another great video. I always look forward to them. You look amazing. Buying new clothes, etc. always gives me a fix. I've already bought several pieces for Kent and I won't have him until next year. I don't even have an artist secured yet, but have one in mind. I'm loving the cherry swaddle blanket. Hello, my sweet dolly friend! Thank you for the lovely compliment! I've been feeling so much better about myself lately & it's so nice to hear that I'm looking good! 😘 I feel like we have such similar taste in style. And we both love to shop! Lol The cherry 🍒 muslin swaddle I got a few years ago. You're never gonna believe it, but I actually got it on a red tag sale at Marshall's at the end of the season. It came in a four pack of the cherries, peaches, lemons & a plain white one. However, I've seen this swaddle around, so I'll look at the tag for you in the morning & let you know the brand. Mushie makes a sweet cherry print muslin swaddle "I have that one also" but it's a cream color. This one is white & I like it the best!m, but I do love the Mushie one as well. I enjoy taking them out in the summer months. It brings a fresh look year after year! Big hugs!! 🥰 🤗🤗🤗

@@piximommysreborns You're so sweet and you really do look fantastic. You give me inspiration which I desperately need. My fatigue is killing me. We have more in common than you know, and I think that's what drew me to your channel in the first place, more than reborns. I do have a few pieces with cherries on them. You're right about them being nice for summer. You find the nicest things, and those fruit swaddle blankets sound adorable. It's hard not buying because I desperately want Kent, but I have other obsessions other than dolls. He'll be adorable when finished. I'm hoping to have him painted as close to Claire's as possible. He reminds me so much of my son as a newborn. Take care and enjoy the nice weather. 💕

Oh my goodness, you have a big collection! It really is so fun bringing new babies home! I sell through word of mouth & posting on my social media. I know a lot of people use reborns . Com I've never used it, but that's all the advice I have 🥰

This is creepy and sick. Treating a fake baby like is real, and spending money on buying all this when there are babies out there without a family makes me wonder if those people have some type of disorders. The world is getting crazier every day. it is just plastic. Where is the point of this 😮😢

@@adaazucar914 It's a hobby for goodness sake, and people spend money on their hobbies, and please don't think we don't help others in need. We definitely don't treat these dolls as real babies either. We're not up in the night doing diaper changes and feedings. We put them down and come back a week or more later. This is a KZfaq channel on doll collecting, so she's simply role playing. These are artist made dolls made to look as closely as a newborn as possible.
