Thanks for a great and informative video. I live in the USA and it's very hard to find a groomer where I live who is willing to spend the time it takes to hand strip. I have 2 Borders I have stripped myself for years but you gave me some new ideas, like the chalk block, which seem like they'll make the whole job much easier in the future. The one thing I do that you didn't mention was using stripping stones, especially if the coat is totally blown. Seems to go faster to start off with, and then like you, I prefer using my fingers for the rest.

For weeks I have been preparing and educating myself on how to strip a terrier - I will be getting a puppy next week and it was so hard to find a video on how stripping is done exactly. THANK YOU for such a great and informative video! You make it look so easy. I thought I would need tools, but the fingers will do. Thanks again!

great video my groomer only strips the body of my border and cuts everywhere else to save time after watching your video I've had the confidence to strip her everywhere myself and save lots of money in the process thanks a million xx

I found this very informative, I have a border and was not aware you could strip around the eyes, to be honest, I have only done it to my dog maybe 5 or 6 times. And just so you know, it wasn't boring at all, Thank You ;)

Your video has really helped me over the last few days. I have 2 border terriers who normally go to the groomers but finances are tight at the moment. To make it more manageable I stripped part of them every day over 4 days and now they look as handsome as ever considering they will be 13 in March and 12 in July!

Hi JODY have tried diamatious earth instead of the chalk it also does for fleas email. ETC. LOOK IT UP ON GOOGLE. IT'S GOOD STUFF.
