Eren sees his own future within Grisha's memories, but Grisha only sees the memories that are hand-picked and sent to him by future Eren. In other words, Eren manipulated his past-self and everything, to achieve his goal. What a legendary anime man... By far the best . My brain is about to explode

The 1st chapter of the manga made it clear that Grisha wasn’t looking at child Eren in the key scene, but WIT didn’t show it in episode 1 because they had no idea how important foreshadowing it would be 9 years later, especially as they didn’t even ask Isayama about it.

I don't have a single friend who watches anime. They say its cartoon or boring. I always watch it alone but from now on i'll watch the episodes with you guys first and then by myself. I really love these videos

Eren pretty much told Isayama to write Attack on Titan. While Zeke was playing 5D Chess, Eren produced the story since birth through space and time.

Don't hesitate to discuss the episode a lot. These episodes are goated and deserve the discussion and speculation.

I just realized... remember that Eren also influenced Kruger with the memory of "saving Armin and Mikasa", WHAT IF Eren also told him "Don't save Griesha's comrades" because he knows that he could use the death of Dina and them to push his dad to kill the Royal Family?

I hope this plot twist is externalized into every one of your minds for years to come, there's really nothing else reaching this level of brilliance as AoT

Grisha was able to see Zeke and hug him because he was seeing him through Erens memories and that's how strong Eren is

Eren saw his future memories through Grisha's memories when he kissed Historia's hand in s3 and that's why he was depressed and dead inside eversince because he already knew what's about to happen.

The attack titan can access the memories of its future inheritors because the future inheritors send back their memories towards those past inheritors, basically working backwards from eren to his dad, to then kruger and then etc. This is really important because it means the reason that the attack titan is considered the one seeking freedom is because EREN is the one who strived for freedom, in turn influencing EVERY SINGLE OTHER ATTACK TITAN INHERITOR. peak fiction

Eren, from the future, sent back memories to all previous holders of the Attack Titan to manipulate them. They all refused to obey because Eren didn't let them. It's like the opposite of the vow of renouncing war from the first king, only coming from the future rather than the past. Eren himself saw his own future when he kissed Historia's hand.

Dude, look at the guy on the top right. He read the manga yet you can see how emotional he was getting at the end. That's how you know Mappa did an amazing job at adapting those events. This is among the best attack on titan episode ever!

One little detail that i hadnt noticed the first time i watched and im only now realizing is that those two random frames, one showing s3 eren kissing historia's hand and another showing the same eren with a terrified face are basically delimiting what he saw. In other words, everything that happens BETWEEN those two frames are WHAT EREN SAW. This is very important because i've alwayd thought he had seen a huge part of the future, battle against Marley etc but he actually only saw this quick moment after his dad's massacre and UNTIL his dad words "stop eren" and then that's when he stops kissing her hand and comes back to the present in s3

My take on this: So eren knew that Zeke would take him back to grisha's memories so he pretended to go along with it and hence was able to manipulate his dad into this.... Also in one of these shots eren was in the front grisha the middle and Zeke in the back
