The Soviet Union sure was something. Say what you will but one thing nobody can ever deny is that the soviets pushed a lot of industries forward with brand new innovations and tech. They were mad geniuses in a lot of ways, with some of their innovations almost feeling like something ripped right out of a sci-fi novel. These are the 20 craziest soviet machines you won’t believe exist!

Wow I did not know the US M65 atomic cannon was from Soviet Union. Honestly do not use footage from the American M65 being set up and test fired while talking about the 2B1 Oka as it is misleading. Anyone watching that will assume it is soviet footage, or at least put an exclaimer saying this is footage from the US equivariant.

In general, for Soviet fighter aircraft numbers were odd, for bombers numbers were even. That simple. There were exceptions.

The Americans, the British, and the Germans all had open top mobile artillery pieces. It was common for the time and allowed all parties to produce more mobile armored vehicles and tank Destroyers, quickly. It wasn't just the Soviets. Your condescending tone was pretty obvious.

In 1965 while on birder patrol I recall seeing these armaments of the Warsaw Pact lined up on their side of the 5K zone and poised fir attack. It brought home to me the real fright of the Cold War and why I was there. So many of us who served there had no idea the dangerous situation we faced. My units life expectancy was a week before help came. I could imagine how the defenders of the Alamo must have felt. My tour in Germany was a very expensive vacation. Luckily I had a High Tech MOS that afforded me a secret clearance and I understood our situation clearly. I had to keep to myself what I knew. Quickly as I came home again I forgot the while adventure. In the mean time the war in Vietnam was chewing up American soldiers like hamburger. Who was in greater danger? No one believed we in Europe were under ant threat, just as so every GI in Nam was in any less danger, however it was more immediate. Please pardon my wandering rant as I look back over my 80 years on this planet.

Lmfao. I didn't realize when they said corkie gaz, they were meaning make and model. I the they ment corkie as in aloof, or goofie. Not the brand or make. Whoops, lol

That swastika is actually Finnish; the armoured car was captured during the Winter War (probably) and pressed into the service of Finland's army.

I don't like how you guys show a Lamborghini v 12 engine for a car, instead of an aircraft engine. And then you show a Ford model A 4 cylinder engine and a model A truck for a Soviel truck. So the GAZ mm was an American Ford model A ? the BA20 is another Ford '34 -'36 and what is a Soviet truck doing with Swastikas? Isn't that German? But, finally you stated the Gaz 67 was a Ford descendent..
