Craziest spot I've ever ridden : Lake Powell!

I've traveled the world and have never found a more beautiful, unique, and somewhat sketchy spot, ever! Lake Powell always delivers the best views and backdrop and in this adventure my middle daughter Presley came along while we foiled doubles back in canyons that I didn't know existed!

My guess…..What made it amazing for you Shaun was the sharing of the adventure with your daughter? Teaching my kids to take risks through adventure makes every adventure that much more memorable. Great dad-ery!

HIGHLY recommend it! I've been behind a boat for almost 40 years and foiling is one of the most incredible things ever. Biggest plus for me is that I can surf behind my '84 Ski Nautique with zero ballast.

Shaun, can you please explain your GoPro setup? It looks like you have it mounted to a floating handle, but you can clip it to your vest. How does it mount to your vest? My kids and I love your videos!!!

I use a float on the camera and a floating handle. I then just simply stuff the handle into my lifejacket straps. Thanks for watching Tony and tell your kids I said wassup!

I'vr never ridden a foil. Could you do a breakdown of the different Hyperlite boards, wings, sizes, etc and how too choose? As well as some different ways to ride? I see people riding surf style, long line, second/third wake. It's all new to me and looks like so much fun.

I wonder if that Canyon is where my good friend's daughter Nikki broke her back. They used to go there every year and the 2 teenage daughters would go off into the canyons on personal watercraft. Well 1 year the water level was low and Nikki jumped off the Canyon wall and landed on a rock that was just below the surface. Her slightly older sister had to get her back onto the personal watercraft and back to the motherboat where she was airlifted to vegas. Luckily One of the best spinal trauma surgeons was on call that night and took care of her.

That's crazy but glad she's ok. Always check the water wherever you're jumping into
