I had that same DC Character Guide book in my grade 6 classroom. We still have no idea where it is from. It just showed up one day and we began to use it in a 'guess the character' game we played at lunch. But what was funny about that game was, everyone except me were guys. Aaron, Jack, Jayden, Hamish; they were all guys. None of my friends would play the game because they were all girly-girls and couldn't care less for comics. The price of geek-ism pays greatly on friendship. I'm still in touch with the guys now. What wonders books make on the world...

Choosing between Marvel and DC is like having to choose which child you like the most. Both are great, both does things very well and very poorly. Marvel has a incredible cinematic universe and DC has some great tv series. Haven't read enough comics to form an opinion on those yet. They have their ups and downs and some stories are better then others. In the end I think it all comes down to what characters you like and what you want to see/ read more of. I mean if I could have a DC style tv series with Spider-Man or some sort of crossover between Marvel and DC I would love it.
