Hey guys this is the next installment of our Operation Burning Sands campaign, where we bring the fictional nations and factions of the old Strike Fighters series of flight simulators to life within ‪@EagleDynamicsTV‬'s DCS World!
In this mission the Royal Dhimar Air Force along with their American partners in the US Marine Corps and US Air Force are conducting a dangerous and risky mission to rescue Christian and Jewish refugees and rebels from the heart of the Empire of Paran. The small communities of Christians and Jews in the central highlands of the Empire of Paran have lived there in peace for centuries, however with the establishment of the new empire by the French following World War One these minorities have faced constant persecution.
With the failure to take the Blue Lake Hotel in the Bekaa Valley and the intense strike and interdiction campaign across the heartland of the Empire of Paran, the Sultan has required a scapegoat to retain his iron grip on power.
This has meant the ratcheting up of massive persecution of Jewish and Christian minorities. Due to the large populations of Jews and Christians within the Palestine/Israel region of the Kingdom of Dhimar the aid and rescue of these minorities has become a major objective in the overall war plan. Dhimari SOF teams and rebel fighters have made their way to Dier ez-Zor Airfield and have come under siege by Parani forces and require immediate extraction.
Due to conflicting priorities in the war effort the rescue attempt has been delayed several times, but the situation is now critical.
