Definitely an Archeology Day. You exposed a path, another side-shoot appears, a glimpse of border brick and then more border beds and maybe a patio. Now you are getting interesting. You've been using the trimmer, in part to locate what could be hidden in the tall grass of the yard. Then you showed how you are using two techniques to lower the grass with it. Bravery ensuing, you got out your wonderful small mower and it is doing a remarkable job. All this I gather is in grass damp from recent rain. That was a lot of good work done.

One man, alone in the jungle. Chopping his way to the ancient Mayan ruins with his goat skin map showing the location of the gold treasure. Will he survive the trek or will the jungle consume him like it has so many others before him. You pick out the most labor intensive yards on the entire planet. That was one helluva lot of work just to get that far. We all applaud your work ethic and your time to share with us. Thanks for the upload!

😂 both you and Sean from Blade Mate are becoming archeologists, both finding hidden structures. Tim, you are doing a great job of this mess. I think that ‘bobbing’ the whipper snipper head also helps to stop the grass getting wound around the head which can be a real pain. Keep up the good work and I can’t wait to see what else you find ;)

I bought one of those mini chain saws. Amazing little things, I love mine. My reciprocating saw sometimes becomes a bit heavy for me, and I had read good reviews on the mini, so I bought one. Love it. Such a pretty yard with nice brickwork. I bet when it's all cleaned up and the grass is back to green, it will be a nice little relaxing yard.

WOWEE Tim!! This looks like thick carpet. Carpet grass? 😂 Just kidding. That's a real workout there. You're doing a great job Tim, as always. Love the video. I love how you always find the treasures of the yard. A hidden path, a possible garden area, I don't know if a drop off is a treasure, but it's still cool to find it out. That little mower is tough. I liked when you said , "God forbid we get a sponcer". 😂 I hope you get a lot of them. You really deserve them my friend. 🥰
@Kaos1162 жыл бұрын
I think what makes that little mower so great is how fast it can clear the grass from underneath it. I have a pretty powerful push mower, but it's weak spot is it can't clear the grass fast enough and that's when it will stall.

It looks like you've uncovered what we call a WWII 'Victory Garden' in the US. AU participated in this program, too. They've made a comeback in the last couple of years and I've seen homes for sale with them featured as selling points. Trees still producing fruit, etc.

Well you sure earned your money with this one. Amazing how much "grass" was growing between the pavers. I mean I could maybe see it that high over ground. But it was extremely high over the concrete and pavers. Wow! If you could have used a controlled burn, that would have been the best thing that could have happened. Than decent nice grass could have regrown and cut like a normal yard... Thumbs Up!

Looking forward to see part 2 or 3 of this yard. Maybe you can modify the mower so it operates like a brush hog. You can raise it or lower it by a switch or cable. Or you could buy a brush hog the walk behind. Just a thought.

Good evening Tim. Couple of questions for you, please. What do you do if you find a snake (I am in NZ)so really don't know. Do you let it go to the neighbours or call in the snake catchers? And, do you think the defined rectangle in the back was the foundation for a vege patch, perhaps? Roll on part 2. This is a good one to watch. Thank you.
