@dinosaurXf yes he is, Spinosaurus wasn't 13 meters long like Tyrannotitan, it was 14 to 16 meters long which lets it keep the title of the longest/largest theropod dinosaur, don't believe what those recent studies people say about Spinosaurus because it is not 13 meters, even Paleo KZfaqrs say Spinosaurus was 16 meters

Saurophaganax or the specimen OMNH 1135 is around 13m and 7.6tonnes but it also could be be 14.3m and like 10tonnes they are not sure because they only found a few parts

No, there is 2 Spinosaurus, the Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus and the Spinosaurus maroccanus. The maroccanus was much bigger, 20 tons and 21 meters. The Spinosaurus maroccanus was the king of the lands and lakes

Not only that, but we're not entirely sure if they were scalies or actually had feathers, since skin tends to degrade before fossilization takes a good hold on the creature's body. I think there's also a debate wether if they were cold blooded or not.

@@glidershower We know for certain that at least some if not all theropods were feathered as shown by archaeopteryx and Anchiornis fossils. Also we know exactly what Anchiornis looked like with its color because the color was preserved in the fossil layers. It had a gray body, red head, and black and white feathered arms, legs and tail. It looks similar to a pileated woodpecker.

Interesting comparison between the Velociraptor (2m/50kg), Utahraptor (7m/500kg), Saurophaganax (13m/5T), and Spinosaurus (18m/22T). All three are carnivores, with strong jaws, and long arms. Perfect killing designs of nature, moreso than a Bear or Lion. I wonder how many: - Velociraptor to take down one Utahraptor? (Maybe x4-x10 ?, I'm guessing x6) - Utahraptors to take down one Saurophaganax? (Maybe x3-x10 ?, I'm guessing x5) - Saurophaganax to take down one Spinosaurus? @@SheshaZilla280 You don't think one can do any damage to it, let alone a coordinated attack by a pack of x3. I think it would be close. If one of them attacks the unguarded rear, another lunges at the neck, as the third is sacrificed at the front, they should have a good probability of taking it down.

You messed up on the weight for the top 4 largest carnivores. Trex weighed more than Charcarodontosaurus, Giganotosaurus and Spinosaurus, therefore making it the true largest carnivore.

Lol ! Bahariasaurus was large meat eating theropod like Spino , Giga , Carcha , Mapu , T-Rex , Chilantaisaurus , Acrocanthosaurus , Tyrannotitan , Saurophangnax , Siats , Tarbosaurus etc . And Suchomimus was way more smaller than Mapusaurus & Saurophangnax .

With the loss of the dislike counter, it's going to be harder to combat misinformation from these types of videos. Now people are going to end up believing that snakes are dinosaurs and the top 3 are vastly larger than T Rex. Also the fact that recent fossil's from 2020 of Spinosaurus suggests that it was very much active underwater, rather than spending more time on land.

@@woah5676 Much of the fame and recognition received by giganotosaurus was born from the suggestion that it might have been larger than tyrannosaurus, however the fossil remains are insufficient to back up that claim. Our understanding of giganotosaurus comes in the form of 2 specimens: the 70% complete holotype (MUCPv-Ch1) and a piece of dentary from a potentially larger or perhaps just more robust individual (MUCPv-95). The holotype was initially measured in at 12.5 meters, while the dentary specimen was estimated to be around 13.5 meters. For perspective, Sue the T rex was 12.8 meters. It was later discovered that the skull and femur of giganotosaurus were not reconstructed and scaled properly. Around 2013, the holotype was measured at 12.25 meters and the dentary specimen estimated between 12.52 and 13 meters. For reference Scotty the Tyrannosaurus is 13 meters.

Recent studies during the current decade, the 2020s for the Allosauroids such as Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus puts them at Carchar at 12.5 meters, and 5-6 tons Giga at 13 meters and 7-8 tons regarding the Spinosaurus, in a study by Paul Sereno in November of 2022, after conducting a CT scan experiment with the Spinosaurus specimens and recreating a CT scan model of this dinosaur, it turns out that this animal is less dense in the water than a typical modern day crocodile, it couldn't even dive underwater, when swimming it is constantly trying to not fall over on its sail, and this animals can grow a maximum of 14 meters in length, and 7.4 tons in weight. Volume and muscle density of a T Rex is way bulkier, heavily built, and way more robust than any Allosauroid or Spinosauridae ever, including the Spinosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, and Giganotosaurus. at hip height, if you were to decapitate the up to date 2022 Spinosaurus' sail T Rex will also be the tallest of the four theropods too as well as the heaviest. T Rex is literally built like a living tank just to hunt, battle, and kill other living tanks such as Triceratops, Ankylosaurus, and Alamosaurus.
