Here I am spearing a lion fish (Invasive species) and letting the sharks take it. We actually do this fairly often. As you will see from this video the sharks make multiple strikes at the fish until one of them gets the right angle, then it zooms off with it and spins the fish in it's mouth to get the right angle to swallow it. They seem impervious to the venom. At no point am I in danger with this species. It is the only time we directly feed the sharks. Please note that I spend every day in the water with these sharks. They are very used to me and allow me to do these things with out chain mail. We also run specialist shark/human interaction programs where we teach people how they should behave in the water with sharks. Sharks are not the mindless killing machines that the media portrays. However I advise you to get specialist training before you spear fish in the vicinity of sharks.
