I want to ignite my imagination concerning my husband and our marriage with Jesus abundantly involved. We have separated and he is not speaking to me at all, even sent me internet divorce papers in July. But God has whispered reconciliation to me and my husband coming to Jesus. That is my big crazy imagination.

When nobody cheered about the “imagination”, I knew God is working in each of these people’s hearts. It’s refreshing to see his point of view and he wasn’t wrong about the “imagination”. As humans, we are blessed with this but as we progress as a society - we lack creativity in our faith. Thus, the reason why it’s hard for Christians to see true healing like what Jesus did. Jesus was radical. And if you want to progress as His disciple, you have to be as radical (and creative) as He was. I love this sermon. Exactly what our world needs right now.

“Image” in Genesis 1:27 is the Hebrew word tselem meaning to shade, to resemble, to be in likeness with. God did not create us with his ✨imagination✨ but made us in his very own likeness. Taking that out of context led to a misleading view of of Gods will for us. He never promises us prosperity, but he does promise peace, hope and joy no matter the circumstance because of what Christ did for us. This doesn’t mean we can’t pray for a healthy life and to be successful, but it is not always Gods will. Look at the disciples. They were all killed for their faith, they weren’t given buildings. FOLLOWING CHRIST IS HARD!

Thank you for adding your understanding of the original Hebrew language. I know that is important for us to properly interpret the scriptures along with help from the holy spirit. Since we live in a fallen world, we will definitely not always have an easy road and will experience some suffering however let's not forget God's original intent for us going back to the beginning. His will for us is GOOD and there are many examples of his miraculous power & generosity being demonstrated for & towards his people. I don't think there was a big need for a lot of buildings at that time.

man, i cried so many times watching this....and i have so much on my mind right now... im just....mindblown rn.... wow.. god is good folks. literally today we were talking about my aunt and her struggles and this made me realize maybe she has shut down her imagination and not just her but many people too...but anyways...idk where i was going with this...i just know something powerful made me feel this way and its weird because i felt like crying right before he said he too felt something and it was like the same feeling i got when i was on the beach and also when he said close your eyes i imagined the beach... but it was maybe because the only vacation ive been on was the beach idk... this video just increased my faith in god a bit more...yeaah hope everyone gets the message. peace.

Yeeeeesssss....God is amazing. He saved me!!!! I am in awe!!! Wish I could share my testimony. Maybe then I would be allowed church in my home. Even if it is all day and all night. I didn't think I was fixable, but SURPRISE... Everything is possible with Jesus !!!

Why worry? God's word is full of prosperity (the quality or state of being prosperous, or having plenty of anything or things good or desirable; successful progress in any business or enterprise) towards the Righteous. One of my favorite scriptures is 3 John 2-3. It let's me know God's intent for me. I know God wants me to prosper so I embrace it and I have faith for it. Along with spiritual gifts we need money, resources, and things to meet needs in this world. If you don't have anything you can't help anybody. Now, what I worry about is "The Gospel of Poverty" because that is not GOOD NEWS.

@@misslashayresells3853 I think there is a difference between kingdom prosperity and earthly prosperity. Nothing wrong with being prosperous on this side of eternity but be careful that's not the thing your seeking before God (love the healer more than the healing). In my poverty I cling to verses like, Matthew 8:20 KJV "And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head." Jesus tells the rich man who asks how to enter the kingdom of heaven to sell all he has and follow him and the rich man went away sad. And through my poverty or my riches I'm to approach the throne of God confidently with all praise and thanksgiving and make known my requests and supplications. God didn't promise me He would fulfill my every desire though, rather anything we ask ACCORDING TO HIS WILL He hears and responds. (1John 5:14) Often times in the Bible it's the poor and most unlikely (according to worldly standards) that God calls blessed.

I've been following Pastro Craig for a while now, and his sermons have touched my wife and I. His beginning with prayer his ending with prayers his messages they are wow I Thank God that this church has such a great leader.. with that said. Pastor Todd, and I don't mean in in any disrespect to the church I think this may be the only negative comment, and God forgive me and not find me at fault if I am wrong... but Todd seems a little out of bound. I never ever in his sermons on other videos hear him talk about repenting hold himself how other pastors should bless and praise the sacrifice God did by sending Jesus to the cross. It's all about what God is gonna do or is doing or about materialist things. When he talk about a woman's curves as if to notice lust when Jesus stated how looking at a woman with lust... I don't know church I just feel as if the pastor is just trying to appeal by saying a few somewhat true fancy thing. rather than preach the gospel. And I understand he was limited in time in this video, but his other videos out there are questionable. Praising worldly sinful rappers and their music... I don't know church. I'm still going to tune in to Life Church I absolutely belive pastor Craig is a man of God with Jesus in his heart. And I ask God again to please forgive me if my criticism against him. To everyone a good day may God be in your mind and Jesus always in your hearts.

I don’t normally respond but I believe in my heart you should rewatch the sermon because I think the message was for you. Below is verse from the Bible which he mostly touches on. At the beginning of the sermon I felt like you. It just sounded like him flexing and telling people about what they can get from God, but listen until the end. What I quoted from you proves what he said. What child thinks of repenting? Or how they should hold themselves? They tend to focus on the love of Jesus and his miracles. Try to more more like a child for we children will be welcomed into His Kingdom. Matthew 18:1-5 NIV “At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.”

We are all brothers in Jesus Christ. I merely pointed out that the word that was spoken was backed by the word of God aka the Bible. Below are a few scriptures! @@felixygarcia7328 I just recently read Isaiah and I love that verse. It shows one reason why God allows bad things to happen to good people, because though is was meant for evil he used it for good! Anyway below is a scripture just showing that Jesus never leaves us. We can listen to the good news everyday forever and not compromise our walk with Jesus. Have faith that Jesus will keep us even when we stumble and that we should all spend time with Him and in His word to build faith and to have discernment. That is why I don’t mind preachers that always preach about the goodness of God( as long as it’s the full and true word). “To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy- to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.” Jude 1:24-25 NIV
