I used to totally enjoy a solo toy hunt, but having a crew to link up with for a day like this what it's all about mate, toy hunting is a team sport!

Doorway to Dorkness looks like an amazing shop. Always appealing collecting retro games but whenever i dabble with it the reality never lives up to the memory for me, toys however look as cool today as they did back then.

Hunting with friends is def one of the best things about collectible hobbies.

My idea of a joke. There were a couple shots of him where he looked stressed. I apologize for not knowing his name. Loved watching this latest vid, we saw retroghetto coming out as we went into the fair and I knew you'd be about somewhere, was hoping to bump into and say hi after I chickened out at stafford haha. I picked up the same cool Robocop rata tat tat figure you did lol, I'd have had it but not at the price it was on at. Came away with a few items I'd been after for a while and also found a toy gun I had as a kid, they just dont make toy guns like they used to ha. Look forward to the next vid, keep the good work up 👍

There's a nice range of unassembled Gundam kits in Forbidden Planet in Nottingham. For years they had a small range and even the small kits (HG - High Grade) were expensive, probably because they were buying them in small amounts. But I think the interest has grown more recently and those kits are now around the £20-£28 range. Low enough for me to try one and it was great to build and looks awesome. When I went back to the shop I saw they had some stands as well, so they can be posed as if in flight, a bit pricey at £8 compared to the price of the model. But I bought one for the model I had and it looks even better posed in action rather than just standing there. I think they have some of the larger kits as well which are more in the £30 range, but it's a more reasonable price than they used to be. I don't know if this is just local to this Nottingham store or if there is a more country-wide growth in interest with Gundam, so there might be other places stocking them at a similar price.

Seeing that 1/400 Meteor Unit for £85 kind of hurts. Like I get it's probably correct with how rare some of those smaller kits are but it's more than the bigger 1/144 HG scale one goes for too. Fun video though, definitely going to need to swing by a Toy Fair soon

Hey man, I saw a KZfaq video that has two reboot figures, and they were the red and blue robot, and the red one was signed by the voice actor

The colours of the polluto just aint right IMO They might match the original prototype but we all know prototype colours were usually only placeholders for the final toys. Toxic C line was way brighter and popped. Would have liked to have got this release but couldn't justify an immediate re paint...Not that it really matters its just toys after all - rant over :)
