Well I am a 76 year old Australian man who has followed football all my life and I saw Sam Kerr make her debut when she just over 15. She has grown into maturity so well. There were another two as well. Mary Fowler and Cooney- Cross who also made their debuts when 15. Australia is blessed with so many really good footballers all over the world and of course the A-League women. You know when you are seeing something special and just watch Mary and the other girl mature the same way Sam did.

Yep I also saw Sam's first game for WA all those years ago when most of the girls could barely play as they didn't have the game as kids in school and I said this girl has an amazing talent now the girls are getting paid a living not lunch money and they have improved in skills so much. To be honest I prefer the womens game over the mens as a spectator and it is only going to grow. The game against school boys was years ago, it's time to get over it, ask some of the professional men who train with these women if they think they can't play football and you will only find total respect
