Rustic jungle is a good map in my opinion but I’m ngl I don’t understand why crazyblox would decide to add a more harder crazy+ rather than giving us a easier one to introduce us before we get actual more and harder crazy+ maps, I feel like instead I would have added like sub-zero sphere cause not only does it go well with the winter theme since it is December and it’s almost Christmas but also it would have been such a great introduction for a first crazy+ and getting everyone actually prepared before we get harder crazy+ maps, I haven’t completed sub-zero yet but I have gotten pretty far and just got an immediate feeling thinking “Yeah I think this should be added” but overall rustic jungle is good.

"6.5 have fun, go die" that was a pretty summed up statement of an introduction to the difficulty.

the map sucks in gameplay but the OST is truly amazing. Im glad we didn’t get Desert Ruins.

This is the first "My Thoughts" section I didn't completely agree with, but it definitely has some good points. 1. I get that it's a Crazy+ and it's supposed to be difficult, but a map made out of long jumps is not the way to go about it. I've seen many maps in TRIA.os with really fast paced towers that are super fun to play while also being extremely difficult. Rustic Jungle probably could've been a nerfed version of the TRIA.os tower maps we see nowadays, except not a tower. Obviously it should still have generally long jumps, but spamming these long jumps makes for pretty lazily made gameplay. About the decoration, it is very epic but a lot of the details aren't really seen because of how much players have to focus on the map. A lot of the platforms you actually jump on and see aren't as detailed as the rest of the map but "underdetailed" definitely isn't a good term to describe the map. 2. I think Crazy+ should become a new difficulty when there's more than one map ingame so the same map doesn't get stale. For now, I'm okay with it being thrown in with the Crazy maps since relying on the majority of a public server to survive a Crazy map can get super frustrating. Especially with the huge nerf in the Pro Server requirements which, from what I've heard, now only requires all Insanes to be completed. They should've also required people to beat some Crazies so that pro servers can actually be pro servers. As for the vip servers thing, Crazy+ definitely should be in vip servers, I agree with that. 3. Imo Rustic Jungle isn't that hard and the star rating is really overexaggerated. However, my main complaint with RJ being the first Crazy+ was that it just didn't feel revolutionary. Especially with all the Crazy+ maps we've already seen in FE2CM, RJ just feels like another map that got added. When Blue Moon was added, it introduced forward wall jumps, lava wraps, all sorts of new gimmicks that players had never seen before. With RJ, there is nothing. I say this all the time in servers mostly as a joke, but I really do believe that the first Crazy+ should've been Shutdown. Obviously after timelines port, major optimization, and an overhaul of the final tower's gameplay because it's kinda bad. Shutdown literally screams "I AM THE HARDEST MAP, FEAR ME" at the very beginning. There's shaking, alarms blaring, and you get the point. It's also bottom Crazy+, being not much harder than AVM but still evidently harder and much more intense. I believe adding that map instead would've fixed both of our gripes with RJ being the first Crazy+.

Yeah I agree, I was very confused when the crazy+ map was a part of the normal crazy roster. I was expecting the intensity to go up to 6. Also I still think the map is heavily underdetailed in places outside the tower section, most platforms are just the same boring rock texture and the only real decoration are the vines

Rustic Jungle is with the other Crazy maps so that people dont spam boost to Crazy+ to do RJ every single round. That being said, I do feel really demotivated to try this knowing how much harder it is than AVM which I've only beaten once. I wish an easier one could've gotten in first, and as nice as the map and its OST is, I'm a little disappointed that this is apparently what the last 5-7 months was spent on instead of any other new maps of other difficulties getting in.

My theory on why Crazy+ is thrown into the Crazy roster is because it needs to have 8 maps in the roster before a new difficulty can be fully implemented, maybe once the second Crazy+ map gets added it will become separate however i've heard that Crazyblox will keep it like how it is right now. ngl it almost feels like a Sub-Difficulty for Crazy rather than a separate difficulty.

I agree with the points you made on how Crazy+ was executed. There are also 2 things I wanna point out: 1. The map's long jumps aren't the problem. It's the games physics. If the physics were the ones we had a while ago, I'm sure there wouldn't be as many long jump fails as there are currently. 2. A defence point about the map being "under detailed." Look up the definition of Rustic and you'll see what I mean.

19:35 this was how it used to b b4 the intensity system came and u have to have all players but one to get blue moon and if it was like that 4 c+ it would feel more rewarding. Im not a fan of the intensity system as a whole and isn't as convenient as it was back then. above 50% survive increase difficulty and vise versa. We can combine the two, intensity 4 insane and under, and player count 4 crazy and c+, next c+ should have it's own pool and this means voting is still here like LB. I think it kinda convenient like that. Insane lock should be back but now crazy lock. Have fun reading this. Edit: c+ should stay pro server exclusive

I really don't understand why crazy+ would be in the crazy pool. I remember when PC and BM were the only crazy maps and they had thier own separated category. Also if he put rustic jungle into the crazy pool why did he change the difficulty of DR in the anniversary update anyway?

Im positive that if one more crazy+ gets added it will get its own difficulty. Cause now theres voting which there wasn't back when blue moon was added. So if there was only one crazy+ map, there would also only be one crazy+ to vote on. That would made rich people able to boost to play Rustic jungle over and over again without playing any other maps. i think thats the reason why c+ is in the same voting menu as crazy until one more c+ is added. (im sorry if you didn't understand)

Aside from the current complaints that have already been addressed in the comments, why the actual heck did CrazyBlox allow events (besides Rescue escapee) to happen on this map or in Crazy+ in general? Like Fog isn't terrible but events like Exploding Buttons WILL mess up the difficulty and I don't understand why he thought it was a good idea...

6.5 doesn't fit rustic anyways, i wouldn't consider it a baseline crazy+ (like AVM v4 or something) but it's close enough and nah a noticeable amount of platforms are kind of lacking in detail, which stand out more in comparison to sections like the tower that are very well detailed

if rustic jungle was in its own map pool, people would just keep boosting, meaning its going to be rustic jungle EVERY game. if its in the crazy pool, theres atleast 1 map between every chance to play rustic jungle

I agree with everything you said except for the 6.5 stars argument. I do think 6.5 is a great start up as it sits right in the middle between easy crazy+ and hard crazy+. If star ratings were a thing in 2019, Blue Moon would be a 5.4. I do think if crazy+ started as a 6.1, people can make an argument saying the map is in similar difficulty or easier than Avm, so that’s my opinion. Either way great video!!!

Ngl this was a dissapointing update. Despite Manel coming back to FE2 it was a bad update. Pro servers are SPAMMING rustic and its impossible to play any other map in the crazy map. I don't think he had a good time

The problem with Rustic Jungle is that most of its difficulty ONLY comes from the long jumps. The only time when the lava is actually a threat is at the end, which to me is bad map design. I understand the map is supposed to be hard since its Crazy+, but having a balance between gameplay difficulty and flood speed is what makes a map fun and not excruciatingly painful to play. Additionally, having the map be a 6.5 is crazy. A 6.2 would've been nice. The implementation is the worst part of the update. Every map should be possible to solo, and while restricting official Crazy+ maps to pro servers isn't a bad idea, there should be a way to beat them solo, whether through FE2CM or a private server. I don't have an opinion on Rustic Jungle because I can't beat it solo and get a better grasp of it, and it would be REALLY nice if I could do so. Also, having it mixed with the other crazies is one of the worst ways to put the map in the game, don't know what Crazyblox was thinking. Overall opinion of this update is that its not good. The map can be quite annoying with the buggy physics, and the worst part is definitely the implementation. If I had to put my words into numbers, this update would get a 2 or 3/10. This is a really bad update. To be honest, I liked it better when Crazy+ was a CM exclusive.

My Theory on my thoughts is Why not unlocked another boost than is max cap not 5.99 it should be higher 5.99 to 6.99 so that way more crazy+ maps added to Fe2 Main Game, i mean its a new map But Its not a way introduce, Crazyblox or coolzak35 will leak on the twitter, If Crazyblox said Crazy+ Is gonna be Added, That way Many People can prepare Btw the reason why its not in Crazy+ roster because in my thoughts we need 2 - 3 Crazy+ maps to have a new Roster Crazy+ Crazyblox didn't leaked Crazy+ because 6.5 Its not better to introduced The Communinity,Example: Ignis was the second map and was put to another roster it means That in order to get a new roster we need 2 - 3 maps if im not false but heres an example what og happen When Pc was added : Blue moon and Pc was put in a new roster,So it means We need 2 - 3 Crazy+ map to get a new roster,Thats My thoughts For This video

i feel like the crazy+ map is in the crazy roster just so it’s easier to play i only think this cos be honest pro servers aren’t necessarily full of pros so having to surpass the crazy roster would be too difficult personally I’m fine with this, i haven’t rlly practiced the map anyway ( it’s a nice map and all ) but to me it’s not like it isn’t special being in the crazy roster, i just feel like the map won’t be as played in a few months time if that makes sense top tier sentences right here 😎
