Amy Scores Some Nice Finds With The Nokta Legend
We metal detected this beach for hours and even though I didn't get much, Amy pulled out a really nice knife and some jewelry with the Nokta Legend.

Audio Gain: 1 (anything higher on the beach the machine becomes really chatty)

Tone Volume: Max (10) on all 1-60

Interesting hunt. Wet and cold here nicer weather for you but the removed sand exposed a lot for your hunt.

Sweet finds - Congrats Amy on the pendant. The knife is also super cool. Question - What do you do to clean these up? Specifically? Vinegar bath? Electrolysis? or what? Your finds on the wrap-ups always look great.

For silver we use boiling water and baking soda method, than a polishing cloth. For coins we use rock tumbler with pebbles, a little water and a drop of dish soap. Although we haven't cleaned coins for wrap ups but that's what we do when we are ready to clean coins. For the knife, because its stainless steel, just some water, dish soap and some scrubbing. You guys should have crushed it early this week when the waves were pounding. I was hunting Hollywood and pulled 5 rings 2 silver 1 gold and about 30.00 in clad in 2 nights. 7 wheat Pennie’s. All the coins were super old and roasted.

It was good during the wave event. Allot of sand being stripped. But after the wave event it got sanded in. But there was still allot of clad it was just really deep. And of course thousands of Pennie’s!!! I don’t know why all the hunters down south just pass them up! I get it but it’s hard to hunt when you are hitting all those zinc Pennie’s ringing up all over the place! Lol. At least you 2 pull them out!!!

What headlamp do you have? How many lumens is that spotlight on the video? I just bought a sofirn HS41 , it uses a 21700 5000mah battery, it can do; 1 lumen for a month 10 lumens for 175 hours 150 lumens for 11 hours 500 lumens for 3h40m 1500 lumens for 3h10m 4000 lumens for 3h I'm thinking of trying to hunt in the 150 lumens because the next step up only last less than 4 hours I wish my light had something in-between those 2, like 300 lumens for 6 hours or something I think 150 lumens will be good because the 10 lumen mode reminds me of the legends flashlight brightness and that's all I've used up to this point, but it's annoying that I only get that light while sweeping, or if I'm under a street light having my shadow block my shovel as I spin around the plug with the shovel

I don’t know how your legend performed and what you were pulling on low numbers say from 5-25 but i own the 900 also and 95% of the time with those numbers I’m finding blobs or can slaw. It’s a little frustrating. It could be the beach I’m on also. Maybe if you keep that in mind i will ask you a month or so from now and see if that’s what happens to you too.

I found a ring at a 1 on the 900 lol. I found that really nice 18k gold ring on Jan 1st with numbers of 14-15 on the 900 as well. I dig it all though.

@@SOFLOTreasureFinds yeah I’m interested to see if most of the time the stuff is junk or if it’s a mix. The beach I’m on has a lot of blobs ( space peanuts ) as i like to call them. Is the beach you hunt fairly crowded during summer months ?

Oh ya! In summer every beach is slammed. But in the winter they are slammed too lol. BUT in the summer there are much more people in the water.

@@SOFLOTreasureFinds I’m not sure what to think about my beaches. To me it seems like we have quite a few people but maybe i have not been to a real busy beach. I don’t seem to have nearly as many targets as the KZfaqrs i watch.
