Gascoigne is part of Lazio history! I'm only 25 and I could not admire Gazza playing, but my father often talk to me about him playing with us and his funny stories inside and outside the pitch. Famous is its goal in the last minute in the Derby, where to celebrate he run to Curva Nord crying. For sure when any Lazio fan think about the '90s, Gascoigne is one of the player that come to its mind, wether he is young or old. Also, in (probably) 2012 came to Rome to watch Lazio-Tottenham of Europa League and the welcome for him was amazing. Btw i hope you enjoyed the atmosphere in Stadio Olimpico, and that you liked us as supporters. Often we are pictured as fascist/racist and we really suffer about that. Imagine going abroad, or even in northern Italy, and when you tell people that you support Lazio they have to joke about you being fascist. In the '80/'90s many Lazio supporters were like that, but now i can tell you that it is completely false. There is still a very small portion that, for me, just "pretend" to have that ideals, but 99% of us are normal supporters like any of other teams, that condemn such behaviors.

The Diablo flag is in honour of a former leader of Lazio's Irriducibili, whose nickname was Diabolik. He was murdered a few years ago. Inter and Lazio ultras have had a strong friendship for over 30 years so they both use the same flag to show their respect for Diabolik.

9:39 Lazio and Inter are brothers and that flag is a tribute to Fabrizio Piscitelli also known as Diabolik who was the leader of Lazio's infamous Irriducibili Ultras group who revolutionised Italian Ultras culture and he sadly got shot in the head in 2019 whilest sitting on a bench in a park, shortly after Irriducibili dissolved amd started again under the name Lazio Ultras, Inter still has an ultras group called Irriducibili 🐍⚫️🔵⚪️🦅

Gascoigne for us is the player that put us back on the map of the international football. He was the first star bought by Lazio that makes things start to turn in a better way. I grow up with my parents' story about him and when he went back at the Olimpico in 2012 was welcomed like a hero, with chants and a standing ovation. He's one of the greatest player of our history, without all the injuries he could has done so much better

I also been at a derby that Lazio lost but still had alot of fun in Rome with other Lazio fans after the game as we just drank our lose away haha, the Lazio days in Rome i will never forget. Inter and Lazio ultras (and fans) are very very big friends. On the contrary, lnter and As Roma ultras have always hated each other and there are often fights between the supporters of the two teams (in the past there have also been several serious stabbings, now fortunately there are more checks).

I went to a Lazio game few years ago was behind the goal in the curva Nord against Hellas Verona. Stadium wasn’t full but the atmosphere was incredible very intimidating speaking English but was an experience
