The farming caster you encountered most have the player detection addon, it will show anyone within your loading range. It triggers sound effects and has a clickable UI to target the Red if in range (it will even say if it detected that the player stealthed). I have used it since I got it from a PvP'ers custom addon package. I can't confirm but it seems to even be able to detect people in different layers.

The bloodforged epics you get from actually farming high risk just aren't worth the effort when people like me who are PVE only are farming up tons of epics from personal loot chests on raids and bloody jarring all the stuff we don't want or have multiples of and throwing it up on AH. It also means that anyone willing to dump roughly 5-6 hundred gold on the AH can be fairly well geared for pvp and thus able to stomp all over people who aren't investing the gold in it. I think the bloody jar allowing people to dump massive amounts of pve farmed gear into the pvp environment is doing a lot to devalue doing actual high risk content and adding to the gear beating skill aspect of things.

so, i got a couple things to say^^. 1st thing, remember when ascension launched and people could only be high risk? best times ! i miss it! second, for anybody who wants to play HR but doesnt know how to get into it: play a farming spec right away. you might get killed but youll make more money than youll lose. actually you can easily go from fresh 60 to 70 ilvl in like 3 hours of mob farm so it really is worth it. when you take a farming spec, make sure than you hit just the minimum requirement for MC/BWL so you dont lose much money when you die and store any little gear that improves yourself till you have enough for a big boost. and once you got enough to buy your big ass gear and be part of the big fishes, thats the moment you go on a full 1v1 spec and go out to have fun.

The high risk system has always been one of my favorite concepts in Ascension. I've tried doing it for a couple hundred hours and it's not great. Always appreciate when it gets coverage. It needs some TLC and the only way it's going to get that is if the ascension team understands the major flaws and what the players don't like about it.

first thing that comes to mind : not having ranged abilities to slow ppl on rogue is just silly. robs you of the potential that classless offers. just get either slow spell, or frostshock with the root proc talents. it pays off to have that and at the very least it forces people to use immunity or cc break cooldowns. also the paladin root seal is pretty neat to have aswell.

Edit: you're missing For the Horde buff, for more loot Want a great way to make gold in high-risk? 1) Make a dwarf 2) Level up echanting, herbalism and cooking 3) Make uncommon baits for 10 peices of gear each one 4) Turn on Find treasure and go to Silithus with a vanish/invis build 5) Disenchant all the gear you get cuz most of it is not worth selling (unless it's an Askhandi, easiest 800g ever made) 6) Profit $$$

Yeah I'd say based on what you got out of the epic there was no way the blues were gonna give you your money back for that price. Best thing to do is definitely gonna be to make the green keys, farm greens for the mats for blue then make blues and farm mats for the epics.

I wish it was a conscious decision but I really just go with the flow with this stuff and with this video it just so happened that the talents fit best towards the end. If you guys think thats better I can do that more often though.

Maybe sometime they gonna balance spell builds cause in the last 2 years only the spells builds are viable in pvp. You can negate the physical damage too much.

Oh I also run assuaging shadows, it's great for bgs because you are close to guaranteed to defeat anyone in 1v1 situation, so you just go cap every point on arathi regardless of if its defended or not and also snipe the flag carries in warsong.

wondering .. since you have to choose wich server you will go to when this one ends.. what happens to your stuff in your bags.. those marks of war are really usefull on alar.. so what if you just collet and keep them in your bags?

Is there a horde/alliance system on these servers? And if so is it heavily horde also what server is this the site is very confusing about the servers I feel. I played private servers a long time ago and want a new thing to waste my time for a few 1000 hours but I want decent pvp and I've never been able to roll horde cause it's always a 5 to 1 ratio

Selling raw materials is never worth it unless: - There is a massive lack of supply of a specific material so you can set your own price. - There is a daily for said material or something crafted with said material. (People still do dailies on malganis as these characters can transfer to area52 or alar; just wiping the spec incase of alar thus the need for marks of ascension to get a viable spec going into tbc) Those two aren't mutually exclusive. In all other cases; send them to a bank alt and level up a character till you have all professions to utilise the materials in full with recipes to then sell the crafted item which will actually make you a profit compared to the raw materials. This also means that unless you have a wide variety of professions to craft with; your not going to make money utilising keys/baits and instead if your buying the materials for the keys; you'll lose money on average compared to crafting and selling the key itself.

You drop some of your equipped items I think, you can also protect them and it'll drop gold instead. I haven't played high risk in awhile so could be some bag stuff too.

To me as someone who has gotten my ass whooped by gankers because I was one of those farmers on the free pick servers years ago. The only thing that stings is my gear being taken by someone completely out gearing me and shadow stealthing. I'm not saying what you are doing is wrong, far from it I get its a matter of we choose to go out there, and being in a more non bias position I can see it. Not in the moment though I was sad as hell. The only time I got to the point of angry DMing the dude was because I saw a dude in my friends list and he was grouped with him so I assumed he was friendly and was going on about my business and I hit just over the Itemlevel limit to have gear looted (it used to be like that or something it was always confusing.) but yeah no... You randomly see a fucking rogue eyeing you behind a tree in a tank build, I'm sorry that dude had it coming to him XD. Theres a difference from a noob not understanding and putting himself into a bad situation and messaging a dude for his ring back and being depressed because the guy was charging like 500 gold for a ring (my experience when I thought the dude would be chill since he was partied to a friend that was a fucking mistake but its in the past *shrug*) vs that guy. Sorry for the rant I just was like bro... You see a guy geared like you and you either run or u get ready for a fucking fight like at least in my eyes I see a rogue I just KOS and assume they gonna try to kill me XD Great vid man

I find it funny how you seem to not understand that 'sanguine' is just a prefix that describes a type of gear just like 'bloodforged' and the item u got is just warrior tier 2 shoulders, but sanguine version a.k.a. pvp superior.... bloodforged being the normal pvp type and sanguine the superior one ;) wink wink

U make great content, but please as a goblin. You try to better urself in pvp and pve, why not take the same approach when u post on AH? instead of undercutting 30% u might find its gonna sell anyway even doe u just undercut by 1c. It takes no more effort, and u make more money.

shouldnt exist tbh. Biggest problem with modern WoW is that everything you used to have to be good at is basically gone now. Addons and QoL updates removed it. Game, even Ascension not just retail, just feels so...lifeless. It reminds me of Spongebob vs the version of Spongebob where hes super smooth and round and just says hey how are ya.

Attacking someone who is in middle of fighting elite mobs is bullshit in my opinion. It's the main reason why I fucking hate WPvP no fucking honor. Real PvP is done in BGs and Arena not roaming around jumping people who are questing.

That's only true if they don't purposely flag up for something called High Risk with the intent of farming mobs for big loot that only exists in high risk due to the risk of being ganked while you're attacking mobs. The real issue isn't people being upset that they died because they misunderstood the mode. The real issue is that being ganked while on mobs is almost certainly not why you died, it's probably a variety of other factors outside of your control at that moment that could be balanced. That's just how I see it.

@@Mcdoubles It's still shitty that you waited to attacked the players after they started fighting the mobs. I watched the whole video. Both times you found someone to fight. You jumped them when they where in middle of fighting elite mobs. I mean it's one thing to attack someone whos is running around in HR not fighting anything. But to follow the player and wait till they started to attack elite mobs then jump them is where I have the problem. In my opinion its a very scummy thing to do. And like I said it's the number one reason I hate WPvP. I stand by my statement that real PvP is done in BGs and Arena.

@Damian Lester Who fucking tries to 1v1 in BGs lol get real buddy. That is what Arenas are for. Also I never said anything about BGs being about honor smart guy. I only brought up honor when I was talking about Mcdoubles waiting till the played he was following. Started to attack elite mobs then jumped the them while they where distracted. Which is scummy thing to do.

thats why I'm putting it on another channel. This channel is starting to get less views, and even if my editing and skill gets higher, its not translating. I need to have other things to do since I keep getting comments like this that don't want to support anything else but also don't mind that this channel seems to be experiencing a rough patch because of how boring Ascension WoW is atm.
