Excellent!! And AWESOME tutorial! I am making this for a brain-busting show and tell during monday morning coffee break.

Its like the 'chocolate bar' tricks. The total amount is actually less and less slightly by every move, but our eyeballs is hard to recognize it. So it is considered both illusion and magic trick, nice.

Won't it be kind of hard to transfer the flexibility from the single layer well-cardboard to a wood frame?
@themagicbuzz57284 жыл бұрын
Mikael Karlsson If you mean shrink the frame, you have to cut the frame down to size. I should have one by the end of the week I’ll vid it and post a link here❣️
@mickesmanymovies4 жыл бұрын
@@themagicbuzz5728 Yeah... I guess that's what I mean. The cardboard is basically a big frame with half a layer cut out on the backside, allowing it to be "invisibly" compressed into a smaller shape. I figured that kind of flexibility would be difficult to transfer into a wooden frame without it being clearly visible. I'd love to see your end result though!

Nice. Better value than the Tenyo Perpetual Puzzle. Let's see your version of Winston Freer's 'Tile Puzzle'!
@deejay68694 жыл бұрын
Wait. How'd you do that? I've seen the version of that puzzle where you add an extra piece. When you added two extra pieces... Mind blown! I was going to be so mad if you were using a magnet. I also kept looking for the little match stick piece to slide the whole puzzle over to make more room. lol. That's a nice little "card" trick.

I have been played the similar ones many many years ago. I remember the case is that longest hypotenuse is actually a polygonal line near 180°, not a straight line. I guess you designed more micro gaps to achieve such interesting effects.

Initially, the frame has a small double-fold where the sides join the top. These are surreptitiously straightened when the frame is first removed from the 5 shapes. This makes the frame about 7mm bigger for the rest of the trick.
