I like how unassuming and innocent you are walking through there 😂 I'm an American living in Tokyo and usually the people who work or frolic there don't like to be recorded. Also, bars and even some restaurants in Shinjuku can be traps where they'll overcharge your bill. The "Japanese only" signs or advisory usually means Japanese people only. Even foreign friends of mine with very fluent Japanese are denied at some bars with the same rules. But there are many options in Tokyo for a good night life where you won't deal with discrimination. Enjoy your stay!

"unassuming" lol...asking the homeless "Toyoko kids" underage girls in Shinjuku what they were selling. Walking into the brothels and filming all the dirty old men. I just assumed it was obvious but maybe I have been in Japan too long. Maybe go to Kabukicho Tower next time and Golden Gai...very touristy. But remember those bars and clubs in Shinjuku will fleece you or you may get drugged and robbed. Nightlife in Shibuya is in the clubs in the Love Hotel district Womb, Atom etc. Roppongi has a whole lot of bars and clubs for foreigners. Not very cool but if you need a "night out" it's easy. There are also a couple of strip clubs with non-Japanese women. And those "soapy" massages usually have a happy ending if your gf doesn't mind then go for it.

I have had the same feeling since I had to leave Thailand in March - I have been dying to go back ever since. I went to all the tourist hotspots and loved it. Chiang Mai, Railay Beach, Koh Phi Phi Island, Phuket and Bangkok. Railay Bay Resort and Spa and The Carlton Hotel Suhkumvit were the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at - I need to go back lol 😂 This video was cool - your videos starring Gladys are really great you two have great chemistry and it makes the content that much better

The reason that foreign visitors are not allowed in these Japanese hostess clubs is that foreigners don't understand the inner workings of these clubs which are pretty expensive. Also in Bangkok's areas which cater to Japanese like Sukhumvit Soi 33 and Silom foreigners are not allowed.

Depends on the sake, they can serve chill and hot. You are supposed to pair it with food like the skewer you can order there. There are a variety of sake for different season too. Also wagu, they have different grades like A5, A4 and etc. A4 is the best choice without feeling too full

Glady's, not todays not ever if you are smart. Don't get attracted by those brand but instead try make your own merchandise it's so much more satisfying! Just went through my first day in Thailand Pattaya and I have to say this right here is heaven on earth. Love the people here, haven't had such a big smile in years and years until today!!! The Japanese baby girl in the place made my night. She’s cute. What a vibe in Tokyo. My first time trying saki, I kept saying this tastes good and this won’t be strong. The man you talked to that said “Japanese speaking only hostess club” is referring to a hostess/cabaret club where you pay a lot of money to sit and talk to girls while you drink. You could technically go but I think not being able to speak to the girls would just defeat the whole purpose of the business model
