pretty clever what you done there, only issue is that if you put a flat bar across the table of the BP you will find it is not flat , not by a long shot. gotta level the lathe independent of the table. Keep up the good work ! Masso is going to freak if you keep pushing it ! lol.

Had to prove that it worked before we build a rapid turn for the table. 4 axis coming soon. Thanks for watching. Please share the video if you have time.

Why not put the part in a mill collet and then a cutter in the vise?

Dan Nichols probably could have for these parts but what if they are bigger that what i have a collets for in the future so we decided to just go ahead and figure it out the right way now. Thx for watching

Excellent! I watched the brass parts video first but I do have a question, how did you lock the spindle on the Bridgeport? Servo?

Norbert St. Pierre well all i done was turned on the spindle and ran the sheave as slow as possible and then put it in low or backgear. Then I tried to turn it with a 10" crescent and just about bent the tooling so I figured that was good enough. The square tool is in a round collet too. Lol. It all works great. The cuts have to be light tho it lifts the table on the mill if ya get to deep. We ran all four parts in just a few mins so the light cuts don't bother us much. Still better than standing there running it by hand.

You don't have to buy it in the store. Just do it yourself
