The only thing I didn't like about Nick as he didn't let her know what she was walking into. I completely understand why he didn't, but he should have told her. I'm so happy she went to a friend's house before the party cuz at least her friend helped her out.

I love the fact that this movie is one of the reasons why the actor who played Short-Round in Indiana Jones start acting again. This movie is beautiful and it led to Everything Everywhere All At Once

Yes, that is his mother's ring, that means she already approved of her. FunFact: When Michelle Yeoh (actress playing Eleanor), was given choices which ring to use, she couldn't see "Eleanor" on her choices. Instead, she used her own ring.

This movie is so good all around. It’s meant to just be a family movie with some comedy but every scene shows some sort of lesson or builds up to one in the best way. I genuinely cried at the wedding scene… just one scene but the way they wrote it out is wonderful. Beautiful wedding, best one I’ve seen. The characters are perfectly imperfect. I honestly love Asian television, kdramas most because they write out love incredibly beautifully. It’s not sexualizing the moments, or having some sort of corny moments. They write love out through the entire story as it builds and the ups and downs. Great tv, and I love that this American version came out and did help open people to more Asian tv

40 mill on a wedding...! I will be dead long before I ever seen that kind of cash or that level of money richness. God I am so poor this movie makes me feel sad. I admit it I am poor, and I live with it being a writer or trying to become one.
