Maybe I'm wrong about something, but for me it is a huge difficulty to understand: when Chinese, Korean, Japanese women laugh, and when they cry? Listen to how Europeans laugh, and most Asians - "ha-ha-ha" (some variations of the sound are possible, but the basis is this). And now - as the previously listed laugh: "a-a-ay-hee-hee." And how they cry - "a-a-ay-heh-heh". And at the same time, it is almost impossible to separate crying from laughter. I'm sorry, but that's how I hear it.
