Someone needs to come out with a cool Hughes 269/300!! Is the problem not enough internal room to hide the frame and mechanics? They can do it with the Bell 47, so...?

Hey beautiful heli Im looking at getting the 1:6 Vario Bell 212 as well! Is that a functioning flybar rotor head, or can you modify it for a fbl unit?

Hey Buddy. So the head on this is a Vario semi scale rigid FBL head part no 1005/12 with Futaba CGY750 gyro. There is an alternative conversion that Vario supply which provides direct to grip control instead of the 1.5:1 mixer arms that mine has. This would likely perform better but isn't scale looking. Mine seems to do the job though...

@@leecheesman100 Awesome thank you! Hey how well do the mechanics hide in the fuselage? Are you using the turbine converter to electric mechanics? Sorry I don't have the part number for reference lol

@@amitten They slope forwards in line with the pillar behind the front doors. Yes - turbine mechs with electric conversion plate etc.
