Ebbn, great vid, Its Makrura, 19 hunter twink from awhile back we fought a few times. I did similar theory crafting for rogue/hunter. very excited for SOD, have a big feeling the pvp is going to be very similar to twinking. Oh also that mace is quite insane. Oh and anyone trying to cop that mace, might want to pick up a few lesser invis pots and target dummies.

It would be really impressive if anyone could get that 1h mace at lvl 25. Part of the quest has you get a book from the end of SM Lib.

@ebbnflow I have an idea for another video. You could make a "SoD preparation" video where you talk about your plans for the first week or two of launch. What professions you want to max out, what quest items you want to get ASAP, what reps are worth grinding early (WSG rep?) and other stuff like that!

In theory, Horde can do "The Corrupter" quest chain in Desolace where the last quest in the chain is to kill a level 40 elite (the quest has required 25) and get rewards from that. IF you can enter SM Lib the whole chain o Quest of Lore is possible and those rewards.

That cloth chest from BFD is decent for any clothy. But its almost 800 Armor for a Warlock Tank making it easily BIS.

I was wanting a new experience with this season but I think i just gotta be a druid like always. Thanks for keeping my druid dream alive all these years.

Inferno Robe is unavailable now, used to be you can get it at 19 however its fixed now, first part is available but the second part correctly now requires 35, unfortunately

I want to play SoD blind. In terms of wanting to diacover things. However, any changes to loot tables does not count as spoilers to me.

What is very clever on the part of the developers of classic SoD is to have made overpowering “Binds when picked up” crafts which are linked to underused max level professions. If someone wants to min-max a level 25 a paladin or a warrior he would have to be a blacksmith and leatherworking. And we don't know what the most optimal professions will be for level 40 and then for level 50 and then for level 60... This therefore leaves the possibility of having to change professions at each level cap.

Do you think there wil genuinely be a need for pre-bis for BFD? My thought was you hit 25 with decent gear and clear BFD which offers a ton of gear better than anything else you can get at 25. I hope we need to get a form of prebis tbh

Wont that 1h mace not be availably because they're doing a 10man raid for SM. And you need to do SM For that quest.

Keep in mind ele sham will use fire spells and totems now too ;) but im not sure if inferno robes were available in classic? Didnt they get changed at TBC to the fire damage? Or mayve it was the level req thatvchanged and made them available.

For alliance: Archeus is a 2 handed sword with a chance on hit arcane blast damage proc. It's a quest reward from the Mor'ladim questline in Duskwood.

Hopefully we get a few level 25 Epics from the raid.

Good info, great video. I would add tho that the corrupter quest is gonna be impossible to clear at 25. Killing a lvl 40 Elite is not gonna happen, even with full BiS.

Grab basalt buckler only a lvl 40 elite quest to get though.

AFAIK, Gnomes even with 235 engineering still will not be able to get Goblin Rocket Helmet. You need to be level 30 to pick either gnomish or goblin engineering, no?

big chance, that every dungeon past BFD will be locked (my reasoning is if BFD is raid, why allow us to go in higher instances) and noone will be viable to even enter, which rules out Winstorm.. Verigans may not be in game, or bit diff, cuz quest requiere original BFD to enter.. spellpower goggles wont be viable, recipe droping from 35+ mobs..

That weapon is going to be rough to get. Those crates aren’t unique… someone can click all 4 and spawn 4 separate attack waves simultaneously 😢

Is twinking back? I haven’t played WoW for nearly 15 years now but when I left I had several very serious lvl 19 twinks. It would be cool to hop on and play again if there’s still a community for it.

This is only if you count in old classic items... like we gonna have other items on 25 to level when cap gets higher that we don´t know about and skills we didn´t have before.

I hope we cant get Arena Grand Master Trinket. Tanks are barely going to even have 1250 hp. so your going to have every one death running over to the Arena to Farm this trinket really dumb if they dont make it unavailable.

pvp grand muster is locked so you cant get it at 25

Planning gear this way is really pointless because they're adding a bunch of new gear like in the BFD raid as well as for PvP.

The most worrying thing about the new SoD is that they put in a lot of new items that are unbalanced and that they take a long time before they hotfix both items and abilities if they notice that things are not good in the game. It ruins wow classic, and unfortunately have seen how blizzard has become in recent years, more think about selling subs than keeping their players.

1h and 2h dps are the same in equivalent ilvls. Surprised you don’t know this as a long time player.

great, SoD isnt even out. The one Season that is done to bring back the Mystery of Discovery and we already out here theorecrafting BiS Lists. Gaming will never feel the same as it was back then :/

SoM was kind of a waste of time and this will probably be the same thing just feel almost totally like retail. It could be fun if you want to put the time in but the reason i dont play retail to begin with is that i don't llike it.

You should really watch Esfand's video "Main concerns" on this. We asked for Classic+ but we got Season of Disaster insted. Season of Discovery is *NOT* Classic+ It's basically an experimental precursor for a classic+. Blizz dunno what classic+ should be so they're gonna experiment and let feedback guide the way for future real classic+ content. SoD is a Classic+ beta at best. Classic+ was to extend the world of Vanilla, not to just reuse it. WoW Classic's Season of Discovery will break rules that have existed for 19 years. They managed to make the Classic Plus we wanted into some downgraded Ascension WoW. Amazing. ALL they needed to do was to tweak some classes, not break em into other class roles. Not even Retail got it this bad. Mage healers...rogue/lock tanks, ye we really "asked" for that. Pala and Shaman tanking is a long time coming tho sure, nice with scarlet raid, kara crypt etc, but the rest...bah! This SoD is just a way for Blizz to try get bored Retail players back into the game as more and more are leaving it for (drums...) Classic. Some good things here but some rule breaking too.

Many of the items are being completely re done. Not sure you are as in the know as you think. Some people are privy to knowledge and don't make videos about it...
